February 25, 1993 - Thursday - Emily!, Golden beads

I actually had an additional motivation to go to chemistry lecture today since Emily had decided that she'd finally go again. After talking to Ed and Chris for a few minutes, I walked into class and picked up a homework sheet each for the two of us. It wasn't long before she walked in, and I said hello to catch her attention. I had sat back by the doors in case she didn't show up, because I wanted an easy way out. We went down closer to the front and took our usual seats. It felt good to have her back again. She already knew about my social problems exam a couple of periods later, and I studied throughout lecture.

I was mentioning Mardi Gras last night, and she said that I couldn't do anything because I hadn't brought any beads. I was already downstairs this morning when I remembered that, so I went back up and grabbed about five strands. I included the gold one that I bought at the French market. I had them in my jacket pocket to use when the time was convenient.

While I was studying, I noticed her put some pressure on her hand. It made me curious and I looked down to see her hand resting right between her legs! I really wanted to know what she was thinking. As I continued to study, I put my hand up on my leg and rubbed two of my fingers in slow circles, wondering if I could turn her on. Sometimes it seems to work. I then told her that I remembered the beads this time, and pulled them out. She asked to see one, and I handed her the gold one. She played with it for a long time, passing it between her hands, seeming like she really liked it. She asked me later what all you had to do at Mardi Gras to get beads. I sort of blatantly told her, as she continued to play with them, hoping she wouldn't try to give them back yet.

Her horoscope today said that somebody will please her intellectually, but that she needs to find somebody who cares about her feelings as well. I decided to be that person. I was reading my abortion notes, and had just read a very good abortion book in the past few nights. Since I know of her strong Catholic background, and I've learned a lot about the Catholics' views on abortion. I asked her what her view is. She told me that she's not going to have one. I thought she meant she wasn't going to have a view, and asked her why not. She busted out with, 'Because I'm not going to get fucked!' I laughed and changed my question, asking her what her view on other people having abortions is. She is very pro-life, like I expected. She also doesn't believe abortions should be given, even for rape, although she might change her mind if she were raped. We talked about how we both believe that it is very wrong to use abortion as contraception, and about believing that an embryo is is a person from conception. How could it not be? It's living human tissue, always!!!, just if very early stages. Jon agrees as well about that. I ended up using part of our discussion in one of my essays on my sociology exam.

I looked down at my notes at one point and saw Emily's name in big three dimensional letters!!! I do that when I get bored and start thinking about a girl. I do it quite a bit with Kimmeth, and with Emily in social problems. I said, 'Look it's you!' in case she had already seen it, and laughed it off. I told her that we were talking about social dropouts and I thought of her never coming to class, and we laughed. She said that she knows that I was really just thinking about her, which I was. That was a serious faux pas!

Anyway, as we were getting ready to leave, she handed back the beads to me. I held them for a second, and then asked her if wanted them. She said yes very enthusiastically, and said that she really likes them. I told her sort of accusingly that she couldn't give them away and she said that she wouldn't. That was pretty cool. At the end of class she wanted to ask Bernal something, and I quietly called his last name, and she then called `Pedro' just as quietly. It was funny because he heard her, and it seemed like slow motion as he turned around and looked straight at her. He laughed and said that he thought she dropped out because she hasn't been to class for two months! That was a trip, and she was a little embarrassed. It seemed weird that he has noticed us not being there. I had thought that he looks for me each time to see if we're together, and am sure that he does now. Funny.

She saw a girl named Summer coming into the next class and she ran up to talk to her for a second. I walked over right up behind her, and then noticed all of the gorgeous girls in that class! She looked up at me once, and I smiled and looked around, and told her that I wish that I was in that class. She laughed and grabbed me but the front of my pants and said, `Let's go!' It was really funny. She told me to stop looking at the merchandise if I can't afford to buy it! I retaliated by saying that I don't need to buy anything, because I can get it for free!, and I won. I walked her to class, and we talked a lot on the way. We gave a lengthy goodbye to each other both seemingly in a very good mood. Damn I was happy!

I went and studied for two hours in my little nook in the library. There's a little indention in the wall by a window where two chairs will fit perfectly facing each other. I then use it as a couch to lean back and study. It gives me an awesome view of the girl's leaving via the stairs, and I got some pretty strong flirtations back! Anyway, I then went to class and talked to this cute girl who I met on Tuesday. She looks sorority. Like I explained to Chris, that new adjective just means that she has blonde hair, and a gorgeous body! After Mardi gras, I really wanted to take advantage of one of the many cute girls in there and talk to them, and figured that the test coming up gave me a perfect opportunity. It reminds me a lot of computer class last semester. I turned towards this cute girl, and she made the first move, and we ended up walking out and talking for a little bit. I talked to her again at the beginning of class today. I looked at her test and looked at her name as I walked out. It's Debbie, but I'm not supposed to know that yet. I'll ask her if I get to sit by her on Tuesday.

What a day! I finally have that test done and over with, and then there's Emily... Emily...

February 24, 1993 - Wednesday - Emily, Pizza, Christina

Well, it's about time for me to start cramming for my social problems mid-term tomorrow. I should have started earlier, but I went on a `date' with Emily! We met up in lab, and said hello. I hadn't seen her in a week, because she keeps getting sidetracked from going to lecture, as did I once last week. She said that she was going to go this morning, until her mom told her that today was the day that they were going to switch her car to the station wagon.

She said that she tried calling me on Thursday, but I wasn't home. That must of been the one call that I didn't answer on the second line. That sucked! I told her that I was going to call her, and she looked at me wondering why I hadn't, and then I told her that I went to Mardi Gras instead!!! She was very surprised and happy for me! She asked all about it and I told her a lot about the stuff that happened, well at least the decent stuff. Today's lab was pretty rigorous, and long, and she got frustrated pretty quickly. With a little help from Ed and Chris' labs earlier, I actually knew what I was doing, and was finishing the lab pretty quickly. I had time to enjoy the `social' aspect of lab, which I love so much.

Emily started getting a little bitchy for a while, but I knew that it would wear off after a little while, so I left her pretty much alone. I took the opportunity to be friendly with the other girls in lab. This one girl, who I helped a little bit once before, came up to the stock window and said hello to me. We talked for a few minutes and joked around about hating lab so much. She's a little big, but very cute. She lays out and would look pretty good doing so from what I can tell.

I ended up figuring out a very complex part of the lab, and then had the ability to put in layman's terms so that the people in 2041 could understand it. I was pretty proud of myself. I decided to introduce myself to the girl from the window, and her name is Stacy. She asked me about that one part, and I explained it rather confusingly. I think she got part of it, but not quite enough! When I went over to her table, I suddenly realized a very easy way to explain it, and did so. It was enlightening to her and made her entire lab much easier. I was really proud of myself. She actually was one of the very few people in our section to keep up with me after that, although I was still being social. I used this little explanation and helped the other girls. There are only a couple of guy's that I'll help because most of them annoy the fuck out of me.

I even chatted with Sophia for a little bit. I'm really trying to brown nose her. I also helped the girl from Beaty, and talked with Jana. I was being a real drifter today. I one point I wondered out loud to Emily if I should be getting paid, because I'm helping people almost as much as Sophia! But it's because I want to, because sometimes it helps me to learn better by doing so. I probably spent as much time talking today as I did working. I also said hello and talked for a few minutes to the cute girl from Tampa. Was noticeable about her is that, although she has somewhat of a small chest, she always wears tight T-shirts that are really sexy! Yum!

I then started hanging out with Stacy for a while. We were hanging all over each other talking about anything that two people who just met in a chemistry lab can talk about. She's really nice and really cool. Unfortunately she's only in 2041, or I'd be sitting with her for now on! After she left, I cleaned up my station and was talking to the girl from Tampa, when Emily called me. Of course, I instantly had to go talk with her. She was finally in a talkative mood, and we started messing around. I complained once later that she hadn't talked to me for the first two hours, and she said that she really had to work hard on the lab, because she didn't finish right until the end, and besides she knew that she would get to talk to me afterwards. That was cool.

Sophia has been on the warpath lately when it comes to cheating and people working together in class. I am very discreet about my help, which are actually just notes that I took about the lab. She's more talking about the people that actually bring other labs to class, or fill them out before class, which are both pretty stupid. She really got on peoples' cases last week and even said something to me once last week. I think that had something to do with that idiot guy next to me that is always asking for help. I didn't really help him do shit today. I seems like Sophia has decided to somewhat leave me alone, because I am usually done first, she sees that I am actually doing the experiments, and when I make a mistake, I can usually instantly correct it and explain how I did so right in front of her. In other words, she pretty much knows that I know what I am doing. I even proved her wrong on a question today. While doing my experiment, I actually realized a very inconspicuous mistake that a lot of people were making. She had done so herself, and tried to show me why I was wrong. She discovered that she was indeed wrong and admitted that she had made a mistake. That made me feel good.

Emily noticed that I was walking around quite a bit and asked me if Sophia had said anything to me about me moving around so much, talking and helping people. She was pretty surprised that she hadn't. I then laughed and said that I'm not helping anybody, I'm hitting on the girls!!! She almost started choking because she wasn't expecting that answer. It was really funny and we joked around about that for quite a while. That was the point here she really opened up and actually started cheering up. I was glad to make her laugh.

There's still this one girl, the one with the Northern European name, that doesn't really talk to me much yet. I was flirting with her, and we actually smiled at each other today. She always wears these muscle vests, and her entire bra covered breasts are visible. They brought back such vivid memories of Mardi Gras that I just wanted to grab on right there. I need to make an extra effort to meet her next time. She works right next to Stacy, so maybe she'll be my ticket! I also want to find out the name of the girl from Tampa.

Emily and I walked out and had to talk about all of the amazing and annoying things that happened in lab. She saw a guy named Chris that she knows, and introduced the two of us. I decided to be the one she was going to talk to. I used to be courteous and let her talk for a few minutes to the other person, but I've known her long enough now to keep myself as the object of attention. It was amazing because that was the first time that we were ever completely immersed in each other's conversation while another person was there with us. I was very happy! She was telling me how mad she gets at the guy who just comes around asking for help, and copying our labs. I know that she's that way, and have always been careful when reading her lab book. I asked her what about me? She said that she knows that I'm smart enough and know what I'm doing, so it doesn't bother her at all when I ask her for help. That's cool as well.

We went into the Reitz, and I didn't see Heidi. Emily and I were still talking about all kinds of things. She asked if I wanted to go get some pizza. I did, and I also treated. I bought the two medium pizzas special, and she bought two sodas. We went into the Reitz and sat on the couch by the big screen TV. I saw Heidi eating outside and said hello, and we talked for a quick second. We had to keep checking on our pizzas because there was a backup and it was taking them forever. When they finally came, we pigged out. Emily ate an entire fucking pizza!!!! So did I, but still!!! We then watched Jeopardy, and were talking about members of each of our opposite sexes. I complained that there was nobody for me to hit on in the pool hall, so I didn't like it. She thought it was really funny. I kept making subtle references to hitting on her. I had a grand old time. The girl on teen Jeopardy was pretty cute, and Emily said so. I agreed while stuffing my face with a piece of pizza, and them calmly and blatantly said, `Yea, I'd do her!' She hit me and then we both started laughing. It was funny.

When we had first come in, my hands had gotten cold because I wasn't wearing many clothes. I told her to feel my hand, and we held hands for a little bit. She asked me why my hands are so cold, I guess it's just a tolerance I have built up. After we had eaten, she had to pee, so I put my hands down on each side of her and slight tickled her! She sat there for the longest time holding my hand across the armrest between our chairs while we continued to talk for quite some time. That was interesting. Poor me, I need a woman!

She then asked me a riddle: Jack and Jill are both dead on the floor of a room. There's broken class, and water There's also a table in the room, but no windows. How did Jack and Jill die (names mean nothing). It seems so easy now!!! I was then allowed to ask her as many yes/no questions as I wanted to solve the riddle. It took me forever, but we had a great time and a lot of laughs. The answer is that they suffocated, because they are fish from the aquarium that fell off the table! I was asking question like, `Are they naked?' and other sexual references. Emily has a very interesting smile when she is laughing about something sexual that because of her religion, is probably somewhat extreme for her. She would get this gleam in her eye that she liked hearing it though. I really liked the expressions I got from some of my questions! What a great night! We were together today from three until nine o'clock! And she promised to be in class tomorrow, and told me that I have to be there!

I arrived early to German today because the power to our dorm blew and I was tired of being in the dark. Jennifer came up pretty soon and we talked for a long time. It's pretty cool talking to her again, I wasn't too fond of that period when we weren't talking. I was expressing my hopes of a hot and sunny Spring Break. She was telling me again that I should come to Boca, because it's really fun. I had heard that a lot of old people lived there, and she proceeded to tell me about how many high schools there are, packed with lots of our generation. I'll talk to her again about that before break. It'd be very cool if Kim and I took possibly a road trip to say, Ft Lauderdale!?! That would be awesome!

I saved a seat for Christina, who came today although she missed monday due to the heavy rain. I ended up wedged on my soft chair in between her and Derek. We had said hi, but then she gently bumped my leg with hers, smiled really big, and asked me what's up. When I told her about Mardi Gras, she was really happy that I got to go, and asked me all about it. We kept talking even partly while Elaine was teaching! Elaine was asking us what we weren't aloud to do as children, and I said that I wasn't allowed to drink beer! That prompted some surprised laughs from Kimberly and Annette from across the room. It was funny. Christina said that she wasn't allowed to chew gum. I was surprised, and she said that she wasn't allowed to have Barbi dolls either, because they have breasts! I laughed and asked if that was true. My head was leaning against the wall, and so was hers. She turned to look up at me and said yes. When she did, her face was only inches from mine and I realized how beautiful she is at the moment. That gorgeous smile, gorgeous blue eyes, beautiful shiny hair, and very beautiful skin! She is practically the most beautiful girl I have ever seen!!! Normally a girl like that will have been used so much that her personality is gone, but coming from a small town, she is very bubbly, smart, and wonderful. She's awesome!

I also haven't gotten more seemingly positive vibes from any girl I have ever known! We'll put our legs right against each other's during class, it's just weird how much we are touching each other in places you wouldn't normally touch. She was actually looking at my legs close enough to notice a piece of lent on it, and proceeded to pick it off for me! She also grabbed my hand and was playing with my ring on my finger for a while. The only bad thing is that `engagement' ring on her finger.

February 22, 1993 - Monday - Mardi Gras!!!, Breasts!!!

Mardi Gras (French: Fat Tuesday), or Shrove Tuesday, is the last day of the period of carnival before Ash Wednesday, which marks the arrival of the fasting days of Lent. The name has come to represent the entire carnival period. Notable Mardi Gras celebrations take place in New Orleans, Rio de Janeiro, and Nice. In the Western Hemisphere, the principal carnivals are those in Rio de Janeiro (begun c.1840) and the Mardi Gras in New Orleans (begun in 1857).

They call it `The Big Easy,' and now I know why!!! I was talking to a few people on Friday, namely Noel and Christina, about Mardi Gras. We each had our own little excuses on why we weren't going. I didn't even know that it was this weekend until sometime on Thursday when I heard somebody talking about it. I was thinking to myself that it sure would be nice to go someday...

Ed and Jon left for Sarasota at about five Friday afternoon. Ed's mom had bought two tickets for him a couple of weeks ago to a cello concert taking place on Saturday. He took Rebecca home with him to go. He was dropping her off, however, to go home to North Reddington Beach for Friday night. That's pretty damn close to Sand Key. Chris and I found it funny that Ed actually was letting Jon intrude on his little trip with Rebecca. I personally would rather be alone with her on the trip, even if all we do is talk. Anyway, when I got home, I joked with everybody that I had discovered why his parents bought him those tickets. They didn't want his roommates or friends, who are always such bad influences, to `talk' him into going to Mardi Gras. We had a good laugh, and he agreed that it was probably true. For some reason, Jon seemed a little concerned over whether Chris and I would actually go out and do anything this weekend, but I'm not sure why.

Later on, Chris and I were looking over what we had to do for the weekend, and talking about what we had done during the day. I brought up Mardi Gras and we both wished that we could somehow be there. And that's where my overly creative mind kicked in. I started introducing a bunch of `What if's?' and in time, we actually figured out what seemed like the perfect way to get to Mardi Gras. We kept saying to each other how crazy the whole idea was. We both agreed, however, that this is what college is all about, experiencing life to it's fullest by sometimes saying `What the fuck?' and doing the awesome yet seemingly impossible. We decided to call Hector, Cecil and Dave, with me personally calling Cecil. I new inside that the entire idea was a long shot in hell because the chances of three guys all saying yes to an out-of-the-blue eight-hour trip to Louisiana were practically nonexistent. To my upmost surprise, and pleasure, they all said yes and seemed very excited about the whole idea.

The funniest part was that we would all be jumping into the complete unknown during this trip. None of us had ever been to Mardi Gras, or even Louisiana. We had no maps, directions, or even an idea of what we would do when we got there. We also had no idea of where we would even park! All I knew, from my Automap program on my computer, was that Interstate 10 ran past Gainesville just to the north, straight into New Orleans. The simplicity of the trip was a major way that we convinced ourselves that the trip would probably be a reality. We decided to leave at eight in the morning, and I told them to be at our dorm by seven.

It took a little bit longer to get ready and get going than I had expected, but we were actually on the road by eight. We decided on two hour shifts, and two dollars per person per gas stop. Cecil was already hungry and we hadn't even been in the car that long. Chris drove first, and we stopped pretty soon along I10. It was hilarious because it was a very backwoods kind of place, and everybody but me looked pretty out of place. I thought about Melissa a little bit as we drove past her grandparent's home in Tallahassee. Our main goal in New Orleans, was to see tits, and we prayed that we wouldn't be disappointed. And we weren't!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just saw and recorded a segment on Entertainment tonight about Mardi Gras. It came the closest to showing what really goes on in New Orleans. Every other time I have seen a TV show try and describe Mardi Gras, it put the celebration to shame. I thought it was only a dancing and singing festival. Little did I ever expect that it is the biggest sex party next to the celebration in Rio!

Our next stop in our eight hour drive was at a Burger King in DeFuniac Springs, Florida. It's a tiny little town deep in the panhandle, and I wasn't impressed. I asked one of the guys behind the counter if he knew where the closest ATM is, and he said didn't even know what it was! He finally could help me when I said `bank!' It was pretty funny, and the guys liked it. We kept on driving to Pensacola, where we bought gas. Cecil had never seen the Gulf of Mexico before, and I thought that was funny. They all were surprised when I told them that the large body of water we were passing was actually the Gulf. There were some pretty long and impressive bridges on the way, in Pensacola, Mobile, and New Orleans. I took over driving there, and headed on into Alabama.

Before this trip, I personally had only been to in five different states all of my life. They consisted of Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Alabama once. I now have driven through Mississippi and into Louisiana. I even stepped foot in Mississippi at a rest area on the way home to make it official.

We realized as I drove into Alabama, that we would gain an hour as we passed the time zone. It made our trip even better, giving us an extra daylight hour to party. We also talked a lot about racism as we drove through those deep South states. It was funny because the welcome station in Mississippi, and the one in Louisiana, both looked just like a plantation. I told everybody that if anyone asks, then tell them that they all work for me and they thought that was funny. We came into an awesome tunnel under part of the bay in Mobile. It was the first time that I ever drove through such a tunnel, and thought it was pretty cool.

We started worrying about the fact that we didn't have any beads with us as we got closer and closer to Mardi Gras. That rumor about the girl's showing you their tits for beads kept us going, and we really wanted to get a hold of some beads. We kept looking for a Walmart along the interstate, and finally decided to stop at the Louisiana welcome station to ask where we could by some. While they all went to the bathroom, I talked to one of the cute tourism girls behind the counter. She actually helped us out more than she ever could have known. Now that I think about it, we probably wouldn't have found the French Quarter amidst all of that confusion near New Orleans if I hadn't of asked. She pulled out a map of New Orleans, actually told me which exists to take, and highlighted the streets to take to get into the French Quarter. She even gave me a map of all of the designated parking in and around the French Quarter. She was pretty damn helpful. They then pulled out a handful of beads and gave each of us about five of them. That was very cool. I had never been to Louisiana before, but I was liking it already.

I wanted to continue driving for the remainder of the trip. I actually drove for just more than four hours!, or the entire last half of the trip. We were driving next to a gray Firebird full of cute girls all with long gorgeous brown hair. I was very impressed and stayed side-by-side with them for some time. We were flirting back and forth for a few minutes. I liked it a lot. I took one of the tourism girl's exist and headed straight into the French Quarter. There were already a lot of people and we had to be careful. We decided to just cruise for a while. At one point some guys were trying to entice a girl up on a balcony into showing her tits, I stopped the car, and we hung out of the windows looking up, but didn't get a chance to see because of the long backup of cars that I had caused that wanted me out of the way. There was an overwhelming sense of excitement in the air that is more than impossible to explain!!!

We found a five dollar parking lot rather quickly, which surprised me. We all changed into our partying clothes, fixed ourselves as best we could in a dark oyster-shelled parking lot, and headed towards the party of our lives!

The French Quarter is actually a pretty cool place. the buildings, if in new condition, would be very beautiful. They have gardens and some buildings that must be landmarks because they are pretty astounding. There were still quite a few daylight hours left, as we walked into the French Market. There were gorgeous girls everywhere, and Chris and I made quick note of that. Our main goal was to pick up some more beads. We found a place that was selling a bag full of the smaller strands for a dollar, and I bought one. I ended up putting most of them on, and later hooked them together into strands of two, making larger necklaces. We were then ready to Mardi Gras! We shopped around a little while longer in the market. they had some awesome bargains, most hand crafted. They had lots of pendant necklaces for about five dollars, and I would have loved to have gotten one or two. they also had awesome T-shirts. I know next time to bring a little more spending money. I got tired of it soon, and told them that we only have one night, and not to spend it all in a flea market.

We headed out and caught a few minutes of some of the traditional bands, and little shows being put on. There were horse drawn carriages in the streets as well. We walked into a bar pretty soon, and they each bought a beer. Only Hector, and Dave with his fake ID, got their hands stamped. From what I've heard, Louisiana's legal drinking age used to be eighteen until about five years ago, but you couldn't tell that it had ever changed. The bartenders never bothered to look for stamps, and I'm positive that they really didn't care. I watched a girl get her breast stamped as we left the bar!0

There were people of all kinds there at Mardi Gras. From the most beautiful girls you've ever laid eyes on, to the fattest ugliest whores, but many more of the former. There were punk freaks with yellow and purple hair, and earrings in what seemed to be fifty different holes on their bodies from their eyelids to nipples. It was amazing just looking at the diversity. I saw on TV that Carol Alt and John Goodman were also there amidst over half a million people! There were also people from all over the world, I ran into quite a few girls speaking European dialects and my heart just melted and my dick saluted.

I urged that we should hurry down to Bourbon Street, the place to be at Mardi Gras. We got our chance to urge a young girl up on a balcony to bear all. We chanted the classic slogan of Mardi Gras, `Show your tits!' but she was shy, and very beautiful. I think she was with her family because her `little brother and father' were up there as well. I caught one of the beads that he threw down. It helped to be tall, and cute as it turned out later in the night. I put it in my pocket to save and we headed on. We took one picture there.

When we got to Bourbon Street we were amazed by the crowds of people already accumulating. We came to a crowded balcony, and joined the crowds petitioning for the girls to bare all. It wasn't long before the first one showed her tits! We all looked towards each other and knew that this was only the beginning of an awesome night! Our wishes were repeatedly granted by about three or four girls along that balcony, all with nicer tits than I have ever seen in person. That was when a shorter but cute Asian girl got up on the shoulders of a guy to our right and pulled off her bra. We went crazy! Another girl in red, this one American, got up next to her and did the same. they were both pretty attractive. I got a picture of the two and went to work. Chris and I got close enough, so that when the girl in red did it again, we reached up and rubbed her tits! I also got a hold of the Asian girl as well. After the girl in red came down, I reached under her skirt and tried to rub her clit and she didn't pull away.

We then went on to another balcony. It was hilarious because, while many people were intent on screaming at the girls on the balcony, or just watching the girls up on shoulders, we were only happy when we were rubbing their tits! Every time a girl was raised up, or we saw a guy bargaining with a girl, Chris and I would very effectively dash through the crowd and take a front row stance! Cecil and Dave were usually right behind. Hector later said that whenever he got lost, he would just head for a girl up on shoulders to find either Chris or I. I thought that was funny, and had thought the same thing about finding Chris. Chris and I seemed to know that we should always be on the opposite sides of each other, instead of fight each other. Too many times, it was my hand on the right, his on the left, and everybody else had to settle for a piece of our hands! It was awesome.

We ended up feeling over twenty girls' tits a piece, and viewing oh so many more! This one woman, about thirty had the most gorgeous, firm, tan, and freckled breasts and was wearing a tight black workout suit. She was there with her husband who held her on his shoulders. When she finally peeled down her suit, I was astonished at the perfection of her nipples, and tits, as I grabbed on and massaged for the longest of times. Chris was on the left! We walked by this one area, where a more slutty girl was wearing a white cotton bathing suit top. She wouldn't show in the crowd, but let me grab the back and pull it up! Just then, Michelle Hasebrock from Leto saw me and called my name! I was like, `Shit!' wondering if she had seen me, but then we talked for a few minutes. She goes to FSU and I though that it would be awesome if she went back and told Rachel, Andrea, or Kirsten that she saw me at Mardi Gras!

I later ran into a very cute girl with long brown hair that I thought was cute enough to pay serious attention to. She suddenly asked me if I go to UF and I said yes and we high fived. We talked for a few minutes because I didn't know who the hell she was. I wanted to talk with her longer but the guys were drifting farther off. I saw her and said hi once again later that night. my only hope is that she'll recognize me again here someday, since I'm obviously pretty easy to spot (and remember!!!). I also was surprised to see Tama, and we talked for a few minutes as well.

There was one girl that stood out over all of the rest. She was a younger girl, maybe only seventeen. She was really pretty, and seemed quite shy. I asked her if she needed shoulders, but she wasn't sure yet. She didn't want all of the dirty guys to grab a hold of her breasts, if she showed them. Chris and I talked about her later and said that we instantly gained respect for her at that point, and she was the girl that turned us on the most! Chris and I blocked off the people, making them keep their distance. She actually had a bra on, and had to reach in to undo it. You knew that she was innocent and unprepared. She had gorgeous dark toned breasts and small perfect little brown nipples. Beautiful!!!

We all finally decided to go to McDonalds for dinner. You could see the Mardi Gras parade going by outside. It was funny, and I was the one to notice of course, that all of the workers were black! There were some really cute girls in there that were flirting with me. One was right at the table next to us. It really felt good.

We headed back out to Bourbon Street to take on its beautiful fury once more. this time there were two very sexy girls in their early twenties up on a balcony who pulled up their skirts and showed off their pussies!!! Twice. We later watched this married couple, who were on their honeymoon, up in their hotel window. they opened it up, and she gave him a blow job in front of the crowd, also showing herself off entirely! It was amazing!!!

It was really funny seeing girls later and just thinking that I've felt your tits even though you look so sensuous and pure, like a girl that I'd drool over here in Gainesville. These are girls that would never do this at any other place, or at any other time. I compared the girls to Ed to the ones laying out on the field last Sunday, and he got the idea.

This really good looking alternative girl came up to me at one point during the night and asked me if I knew where the Dungeon was. It's some kind of nightclub but I didn't know. She really looked like she wanted me to come with her, and I would have loved to! She would have been a good screw!!! I later had the opportunity to hold a girl up on my shoulders. She was damn good looking, but had a heavy athlete's frame! It was really late, and I was really tired. Pretty soon after I lifted her up, I felt my feet give out, and we both fell on our asses. It was funny. Everybody said that I should have been embarrassed but I'm never going to see these people again, so who gives a shit! I almost ended up kissing the girl afterwards, but I'm a chicken shit! Oh well!

The entire evening was far too much to comprehend! It placed a gridlock on my mind, a huge abundance of store up memories that I will only be able to unravel when I finally get some sleep, and as time progresses. Only now can my mind start to comprehend.

This was truly the best night of my life!

February 17, 1993 - Wednesday - Heidi whimpers, Predator

Damn!, I've been a slacker lately when it comes to my journal. It's been an entire week since I've written, and I didn't even begin to finish last Wednesday's entry. I still have a hell of a lot of shit to take care of, but there are a lot of important things that have happened that I wouldn't want to forget.

I've been having a pretty cool time with girls lately. I received a letter from Tracey!!! today which made my day! I picked it up on the way to German. She sent me a 'large badge' as the customs slip put it. It was a huge button that says 'Love and Kisses' twice and 'VALENTINE' straight through the middle. That made my Valentine's Day! I had a pretty plain Valentine's day until receiving my present. Ed and I went shopping for groceries Sunday night and I actually forgot and asked the cashier what the date was. When I realized that I should have known, I said to her, 'You know what that means!' and she laughed and said, 'Yeah, it means you don't have anybody!' It was pretty depressing, though. It turns out that Ed had made the same mistake just seconds before while I was off getting turkey at the deli. Poor pathetic us!

I chatted for a long time at the beginning of class today with Jennifer. She was feeling really bad, and looked it as well. She went to see her boyfriend at Dartmouth over the weekend. They were in a big fight because she was 'seeing' somebody else at the same time or some crap like that. I also talked with her for a long time on Monday as well. She had missed the big test on Friday and was going to take it on Tuesday. In the computer lab, I had come across a nice little program that drills you with the exact same exercises as does the book. It helped me out a lot on the test. I broke out of the program and discovered something wonderful. With a little bit of editing, I had discovered a printable answer key to our book!!! Elaine has been assigning a lot of these exercises lately, and I think it will help me out a lot now that I'll be able to see the right answers as well. Anyway, Jennifer was the first to receive one of the three copies I had made that day. She seemed quite surprised and thanked me a lot. I gave the second to Christine.

Last Friday, on the way home from UF's engineering fair, I ran into and talked to David from class. He was in my class last semester as well, and is from Tampa. We chatted for a while and I brought up my little discovery. I mentioned that I'd see what I could do about getting him a copy, acting all slick. I called him at the end of class on Monday and gave him the third copy. He seemed the most happy because he realized how much easier it will make life. I liked his response. It's a shame it's going to cost him for the rest of the chapters. Ha ha! Just kidding. He was saying how funny it was, and almost sounded like something out of the movies: me using the computers to uncover stuff that we really aren't supposed to have. It's funny.

I was sitting outside of the Marston Science Library on the patio yesterday trying to get some sun. They have these little brick walls that you can lay out on and watch the gorgeous girls walk by. It's the perfect flirting vantage point. Jennifer walked up and we talked for a few minutes. She was on the way to take her test. She had borrowed mine just to study off of. She told me later that the test she took was actually just as hard as ours, even though Elaine said that it would be easier.

It seems that every time I sit next to Christina in class, we become better and better friends. We're always joking and laughing. I really like her personality a lot. I hope that I end up with a girl like her. I sat between her and Fran‡oise last Wednesday in my little chair. It's cool because it let's them scoot every closer to me, and makes for some pretty interesting arrangements when we have our legs up on the chair in front of us. Christina had to reach down between us once to get into her bookbag. Our legs were pressed together before she moved. She proceeded to slide her hand, with her palm on me, all of the way down the side of my ass to get to her bookbag! Talk about a hard on!

I sat between her and Jennifer on Monday, with her on my left. We both had our legs up on our 'footrest.' We received our tests and I ended up with a 94% on the hardest test yet!!! I'm getting awesome at German!!! This is the one that she said usually breaks a person in German. Christina laughingly called me scum for getting another A on a test. I'm two for two so far. I'm doing so much better than last semester in this, my hardest class. I was thinking the other day that I'm starting to pull some pretty impressive grades and accomplishments just like the 'good old days' in high school. Damn I'm good! Anyway, Christina and I kept comparing our mistakes. I got away with murder on a couple of questions. I said that it's because Elaine likes me. I had my test on my right leg for a while. I was wearing my cutoff jean shorts that come up to my mid-thigh. Christina reached across and picked up the corner of my paper so that she could read it better, and then rested her hand down on my shorts and kept it there, practically in my lap, for over twenty seconds. Shit!!! Another hard on! She really knows how to tease someone. Any guy would be turned on by what she did, no matter if they're desperate or not! What a woman!

I saw Emily today for the first time in a week! Actually I saw her ride by once on Friday. She hasn't been to lecture in a long time, and I slept through it on Tuesday. We were joking about how much she has been slacking off, lately. We had a pretty awesome time in lab fooling around like we usually do. It's funny because we talk to each other like we are the only normal and attractive, yet extremely smart people there, which is actually quite true. Both of us make an effort to talk to each other and hang on each other every chance we get. I talked to some of the other girls as well. I also was being very nice to Sophia, asking her about the test she was taking later that she was studying for during lab.

Emily waited a few minutes for me and the end of class while I got my final work signed by Sophia. I talked for a second to a guy in my German class who has lab following us. Tejal was also already in there and I said hi to her as I walked out with Emily. We walked to CSE to pick up her bike and she asked what I was doing. I said that I don't know. She laughed and said that it looks like I'm just following her. I said fine, that I'll just go ahead and go home then. She quickly said that I must follow her because she isn't done talking to me yet. We walked to the Reitz Union and talked about getting together later to study. We both pretty much decided on not showing up to lecture tomorrow, but I'm not sure yet. I'm thinking about taking the opportunity to meet another girl, possible the really cute one that sits in the back with the shorter straight brown hair. I flirted with her once in class, and outside of the test. The only bad thing is that every girl in there has seen me messing around with Emily.

After taking three hours to do the goddamn lab, neither of us wanted to work on the problems then. I wasn't going to stick around forever like I did last week. I think I've learned to do what's fun for me and what is in my best interest. I knew that she'd just go talk to a bunch of pool guys like she did last week, which I didn't really care to sit around and watch. I did see Heidi (horsegirl from down the hall) playing pool last week with a little nerdy guy. I went to talk to her, both because I like her, and to spite Emily. She's taking a leisure course to learn and still is pretty bad. I still really like her, and I know that Jen told her which is what I wanted her to do. She just seems to have this gleam in her eyes that she knows that I like her when she talks to me. We chatted for a little while and had a few laughs. She made some shots where she had to lean way over, giving me a few view of perfect freckled breasts in a white lacy bra! She's too gorgeous to me! She's one of those girls that I describe as somewhat plain but extremely sensuous, which is what I love!

After a little while, I figured I wouldn't press myself on her too much, and I said that I was taking off. She faked a whimper and we laughed. We both are really looking forward to the day when Beaty gets new pool equipment so that we can play right downstairs. I said goodbye to her and to Emily as I walked by.

Last week in lab I somehow was finishing the sections of the lab very quickly, which gave me plenty of time to play around and meet some of the other girls. I could easily have finished way ahead of everybody else, but then I wouldn't get to leave with Emily and wouldn't have nearly the fun that I do. It's worth it. There's a girl in my lab who I met back in the English drop/add line during the first few days of first semester. I finally went up to her and asked her if she had gone to King. She smiled and said yes, and then asked if I was the valedictorian at Leto. We both laughed and recalled meeting each other so long ago. It was funny because it seems like she had thought about me, but just didn't come up and say anything. I see her now on campus and we say hi, and we also are starting to joke around a little in lab. I also got the reputation of being smart, I guess, because the cute girls from the other side of the table were coming over and asking me questions.

The girls this weekend were unbelievable! It all started Friday night at TJ's. The only other time that we went on a Friday, the place was packed with guys. It was the other way around this time, nd the girls were HOT!!! I went right to the center and stayed there dancing for two solid hours. I had a couple of brief moments with some girls in there, and a couple of missed opportunities that it's hard to forgive myself for missing. They played some awesome songs that we were all singing along to. I had a truly awesome time, the best so far!

We had gone to a Greek dance earlier in the night. It was Cecil, Dave, Chris, me, and a new guy named Hector. He was pretty cool though and we got along alright. We went to the dance, and this little Greek concert that was taking place before the dance dragged on and on, so we decided to head over to Burger King. As we were walking there, we were talking about getting some alcohol. Hector is twenty-one and was surprised to learn that we were all younger, especially me. Dave was talking about his fake ID. That's when I noticed this fat black woman in a magenta shirt walking right behind us carrying a large bag. There were two cops back at the party, which was held in a church. I whispered to Chris that she's probably an undercover cop and we're talking about underage drinking and fake ID's. He agreed and laughed along with me.

We decided to walk into Krystals instead, but changed our minds pretty quickly and headed onwards to Burger King. Oh yea, Chris told me the other day that if there's bad stuff about him in my journal, that he's going to sue me later in life. What a fucking joke! I can't help but laugh at that. Anyway, we went into Burger King and ordered our food and went and all crammed around a window table. Dave sat at a chair on the end, I sat with Chris, and Hector sat with Cecil. This is important. Chris and I looked across and saw the black woman sitting across the room. Not long after that, she got up and moved, with her food, to the table right behind Cecil and Hector. That freaked us out. We let everybody know and we all started eating faster. We were joking about her being the Gainesville killer at that point. We all started calling Cecil's name really loud where she could here it and he kept yelling at us to stop. Chris and I kept kicking each other's leg as we would notice her staring at us.

We all suddenly got up and headed out the door. She did the same. They said that when they looked back, they saw one of the biggest and ugliest smiles on her face that they'd ever seen! We walked very quickly and nobody wanted to be the last person. We weren't really afraid of her, but rather what was in her bag. We were still all trying to rationalize it by saying that it's probably all just a lot of coincidences. I told them to just wait and see if she follows us into the church, because she has no business whatsoever in being there. We walked into the crowd of Greeks and watched out towards the front glass doors expecting to see her walk by. Instead she came in!!! We majorly freaked out and ran for the back exit outside and sat down, keeping an escape readily available. We kept an eye on her and she stayed towards the front. Pretty soon, Chris and Cecil joined the line dance, keeping a close eye on her big smiling face. When we all regrouped, we decided to keep a really close eye on her, nut when we looked up, she was gone!!!

That scared the shit out of us, but we eventually settled down. We were getting a severe adrenaline high from the whole experience. As we left, we expected to see her waiting around the corner, or under the car, as I put it. There were only five of us, but just to instill fear into their hearts, which is fun as hell, I asked if there weren't six of us to begin with? It was hilarious as everybody slowly counted the group and realized that somebody might be missing, but they soon figured it out. What a night! we later ended up going to TJ's with all of those girls!

On Saturday, I went with Ed to an engineering fair in the O'Connell Center. We decided to walk and play frisbee, what we call cross-campus frisbee, just to get some sun and check out all of the girls. I actually got a slight burn from the sun that day. It was the hottest day so far this year. The fair was actually pretty cool. I talked to this woman from NASA about the budget cuts and the future of Space Station Freedom. I also picked up a lot of brochures and catalogs. I made up for not being able to get all of my normal junk that I usually get from the exhibits in the expo halls at the state fair. It sucked missing it again, for the second year in a row.

Ed and I ended up buying and eating a pizza special at Little Caesar's. We played frisbee for a major potion of the day, and got some awesome views of girls laying out. We talked to a couple of girls out on the North lawn. When we got back to Beaty, we decided to do a first, and sit on the small hill in front of Beaty facing the street. There was still sun there, and we were keeping warm. We watched all of the gorgeous jogging sorority girls, and checked out all of the cool cars that went by. It was very relaxing.

On Sunday we played frisbee again all day. This time we stayed in the pit near Beaty. There were girls everywhere!!! And they were gorgeous!!! There was a giant mass of sorority girls laying out and they looked awesome! There were girls laying out with there tops unhooked, and this one sorority girl in a white bikini, facing up, with her bra crunched down almost entirely off of her tits! I almost had a hardon! There was this one girl who I like from Beaty that was sitting out there. She's pretty white, but I liked looking between her legs when she spread them. One of her friends seemed to like me. She had a one piece with very high cut thighs. It was neon green, and she kept looking at me and spreading her legs, or would just move around in a very provocative way. Yum! There were some girls that had almost no material between their legs, but still kept them spread pretty wide open straight at me!!! I was in heaven!!!

Well here's part of my beautiful little Brit's letter:

Dear Dan,
I just loved the teddy bear and mints you sent me. they made my year. Thank you. I hope you do like your x-mas present, my mum helped me chose it. Are your studies going well? Mine are doing okay and I am just starting to settle in to college life. Are you settling in allright at uni.? I hope so. Are you in any sports or other clubs/teams? I have joined the girls soccer club, and it is great fun. We may not be good (or even okay) but we do our best and have a good time anyway.

At school we just had a science test, practical which I really messed up, I spilt the contents of my test tube and mucked up most of the questions. Some how I got the feeling I didn't pass. Also at school I am going to join `rock school' to learn to play the drums.

Have you seen `The Bodyguard'? I saw it last week. I loved it. my favorite song was `Queen of the Night'. Do you still like Garth Brooks? I am really into him. Over x-mas one of his concerts was shown. It was brilliant. Well what did you get for x-mas? I got a microscope and a V.C.R. and books (Shakespeare and Michael Palin).

Since watching the film `The Last Emperor' (about [Iui Pau?] the last emperor of China). I am really interested in China. It's history, culture and people.

I've bought myself some new clothes........

February 7, 1993 - Sunday - Kimmeth!, April, Jen

I talked to beautiful Kimmeth a little while ago for a hour and a half. I'm really trying to weasel my way out of my little procrastination lifestyle that I have employed for such a long portion of my life. I've actually studied all this week, using so called perfect study habits doing about three hours of work each night. I was amazed that I kept up the pace all week, and actually enjoyed the feeling of getting things done early. I promised myself to call Kim this evening, but when the time came, I was just sort of bumming around and didn't think I would. I quickly kicked my ass in to gear and was very glad that I did.

It's awesome how we have long, intimate, and legitimate conversations nowadays. I actually found myself telling her stories that she seemed thoroughly interested in. She's going to have an apartment to look after for two weeks in April down in Ft. Lauderdale when her two friends go on their honeymoon. Damn I wish that Spring break could have been timed a little better! We talked about so many things that we had never really gotten into before. We were talking about the things we like, and would like to do. We both have been thinking a lot about traveling lately. She mentioned the winding roads around the mountains in the Virgin Islands where her girlfriend lives. I can't remember her name right now, although I've heard it many times. She's the girl that sells Kim's paintings for her. I compared them to the twisty roads up in the Appalachian Mountains, and she agreed completely thinking back to when she was there.

She has also been to West Virginia and was talking about the 'mountains' there and about an old fire tower that she went in to one time. I was thinking of the tower on Fort Mountain as she described it. I argued that West Virginia doesn't have any mountains, and we both laughed as we agreed that they are definitely more like hills. She was talking about how the Smokies really do look like mountains; tall, dark and looming. She said that she really would like to go back up there sometime if she can get somebody to go with her. I didn't want to 'eagerly impose' right from the start, but then she said that maybe it could be me. That would be awesome. I just talked with Ed about talking to Kim. We were talking about his little road trip through Georgia and all with Allison, and how they stayed at youth hostels rather cheaply. That might be fun.

Kim went to the Gaspirilla party last night for her first time. She was at home, and then figured that she'd better get out and go somewhere. She wore a low cut summer shirt that she quickly regretted thanks to the many drunk guys there. She did go by herself. FUCK!!! I wish I was home this weekend! She said that she quickly buttoned up her jacket and sort of hoped that she would have met up with somebody she knows. She went over to Harbour Island and saw Eddie Money in concert. That's pretty cool, too. I would have liked that. She also got 'laid off' from her job at the heat treating plant. She has a temporary job at a florist shop for the Valentine's Day rush. She says that there's a blonde salesgirl there that keeps smirking at her. She and Laura have been to this gay bar a few times called Trax. Kim thinks that this girl possibly recognizes her from there. She told me this pretty funny story in detail about these three lesbians that tried to hit on her once at Busch Gardens while she was in Lift 2.

I also told her my little story about Christina in my German class telling me that I have beautiful eyes. She thought it was funny and said hop somebody told her how pretty her hair was on Friday night. She said that it had been quite a while since somebody had complemented her about her hair, and I said the same was true about my eyes. I later joked that we'd make it twice for the weekend, and told her that from all I remember, she has really pretty hair. She replied with, 'Thanks, bright eyes!' I also told her about how I sometimes doubt the beauty of my eyes, and how they look kind of dull to me. She told me that they definitely aren't, and I was reassured even more.

We then started talking about animals. She used to have a hamster, gerbil, Guinea pigs, ferrets, ordeals with rabbits, chickens, ducks, and the birds she has now. I'm sure I've forgotten something. We had all kinds of stories to tell each other. One of her pets, I think the hamster, was named Seymore. I thought that was funny, because I used to have a five foot black racer named Seymore! It was funny. I remember Ila's ferret, and we talked about them for a while. It's funny how if they're asleep, it's practically impossible to wake them up. She also had a raccoon walk in to her home once down in Ft. Lauderdale. It scared the shit out of her. The whole conversation was pretty interesting, and she seemed to be all warm and gushy..., talking about all of those cute little animals. I read in an old journal once of her profound love of animals, which I share, which was proven true tonight.

Her grandmother called once, but she kept talking with me for a long time after that. Not until her friend in the Islands actually called, did we finally say goodbye.

I went to a party Friday night with Jon and had a pretty good time. We got picked up by these three girls in this pretty small car. There was a skinny girl named Michelle, one named Stacey, and a third cute one whose name I forgot from the beginning. I met so many people at that party, and I forgot just as many names. There were a lot of really cute girls there as well. It was somewhat of a progressive party. There was this gorgeous girl, perfect in every way, that I would have loved to had a real conversation with. Her name was Kim (no less) and she was definitely the best looking one there. I wasn't that much of a socialite that evening, though, and she didn't seem all that interested in talking to anybody for very long. I did see a girl that I was infatuated with back at Leto during my sophomore year. Her name is Robin Carrol, but she was making out with her boyfriend before long. There were some nice ones as well.

One girl named Emily, very pretty blonde curly hair, showed up late and seemed to have a general interest in me. We seemed to both want to be as far away from the pot smokers as possible. I thought she came with a guy, but I found her out front when I left by herself. If I would have kept the conversation going, I probably could have spent much of the night with her. We both did keep hitting the keg. I drank more domestic beer that night than I had all last semester. It was pretty fun.

We were thinking about going to Orlando with Chris and the guys from Jacksonville, but we decided to make a road trip there at a later date. Instead we went down the hall, and asked the girls what was up for Saturday night. April was on the phone, but she came down and had 'breakfast' with Ed and I. It was about noon, but on the weekend that's morning. We sat around and talked for quite a while. We all compared tans, and she's really white. She's actually quite petite. She has really cute tits and is actually a pretty good looking girl. It was funny thinking about how we used to never talk, or even say hello for the longest time. It's a weird world. She has a boyfriend who lives on our floor, but she seems to flirt with Ed and I a lot lately. Jon, Ed and I had talked earlier about going to see the new National Lampoon spoof, Loaded Weapon 1, tonight. She brought up the fact that a group was going to see it tonight and we decided to go along. She then went back home to get some sleep and do a bit of work until five when they were going to call her.

Ed and I went biking around campus in the rain for a while, and also stopped by Burger King for lunch, a bike shop, and a record store. Ed tightened up the loose parts on my bike, adjusted the seat, and put on new brake pads that I bought. I rode his bike around for a while, and it is surprisingly easy to ride. No wonder it's so easy for him to keep ahead of me. I met up with April in the hall later on, and she told me what was up. Her friends went ahead and bought our tickets, to avoid the lines, and we were going to leave at about 9:30. Ed came out and we talked to her for a little bit longer.

When it was about time to get ready, I looked outside the window to see four cops that had pulled over a mini van with five cowboys in it into our parking lot. They pulled the guys out of the van one by one at gunpoint and then cuffed them and sat them on the ground. They had the K9 dog search the car afterwards, but didn't find anything. They ended up letting them all go, after a very long time. The whole incident blocked off the Beaty lot, so that any cars wanting to leave or come in could not until they were through. We had an awesome view form the sixth floor with my binoculars. All of those years in Tampa, and I have never seen such an awesome bust so plainly before. It was funny because the Cops TV show was on at the same time, and the theme music kept playing as we looked out the windows. We asked each other why watch the show, when all we have to do is look outside!

Anyway, we walked with April to her car. Her boyfriend didn't come. We picked up a fat chick named Jody on the way, and met everybody else at the theater. I sat in the front seat and talked to April the entire way. My ulterior motive was to talk to her as much as possible and keep her away from Ed. I'd also like to become her friend as well, even more actually. It was a pretty funny movie and I enjoyed it. We were all rather tired so we decided to call it a night when the movie ended at midnight. I sat up front again and Ed was being rather rude about her driving. I made some rather funny jokes that had everybody in the car cracking up. I felt good.

Before German on Friday, I talked a lot with Jennifer and Christina outside of class for a while. Christina's really nice and I like her a lot. I was pretty surprised again by the attention that I was receiving from Jennifer since Wednesday. She was actually being cute again, and even would called my name in class once just to say hi.

February 3, 1993 - Wednesday - Emily the tramp!, Ring

Well, my friend Emily made out with this guy last night. He's one of her ex-boyfriends. I came in to lab today, and jokingly asked her why she wasn't in class yesterday. She asked what we did, and I said that I just read the paper and did nothing since she didn't show. She said that I shouldn't even have gone because I think she was trying to tell me Monday that she wasn't going to class. I then said that it was good though because it made me go to Social Problems, which was a lie, because I would have gone anyway. She then said that she racked up some social problems lately. She then stopped and I told her that she couldn't leave me hanging like that. Just by the way she was acting, I knew that she had done something with a guy, but I was thinking more on the lines that a guy asked her out.

I told her that she did see too happy when I first came in and she laughed. She said that she's not happy that it happened (she said this repeatedly!), but is happy that she'll be getting out of Gainesville this weekend for her pool tournament. I congratulated her for getting what everybody in college wants, physical contact! and she quickly corrected me that it isn't a goal of hers. We then had a sweet little talk where I said stuff like the fact that physical contact is most guys' goal and that's probably the main problem. She said that's not our only problem and I argued against that. I did say at one point that I was jealous, but I didn't specify whether I was jealous that she was with another guy, or just envious that she was making out and I wasn't. She said that I shouldn't be, though.

I didn't let the news really phase me, and we actually joked around and hung on each other more than usual. I did take the opportunity to come up with some pretty witty yet lighthearted jokes about her little escapade. Some of them were pretty funny. We messed around and wee laughing a lot. I actually wrote up my lab over with her at her station. It's a pretty good thing that I've been more cautious with her, and not really become very emotionally attached. That's not quite true, because I care for her a lot, I just haven't become 'jealously' attached yet. I was more cautious with Emily than I was with Melissa. I tried imagining how I would have felt if Melissa came in after she had broken up with her boyfriend, and told me about making out with some other guy. I would have been crushed. Maybe she knew that and wouldn't have told me if she did.

Anyway, it's not quite the same because I knew from the beginning that Emily has many guy friends. It almost seems like she's better friends with a guy after she breaks up with him. It's very reassuring to know her religious background as well as I do, because I know that she won't be having sex with anybody out of nowhere. I still wonder if she's a virgin, I'm pretty sure she is. I walked with her most of the way to the Reitz Union before she left me. I had already said that I was going home, though. Next week I think I'll go with her for a change.

I was surprised today when my little distant friend, Jennifer walked up early before class and talked with me for quite a while. I ended up sitting between Noel and Derek, and Noel and I were being pretty funny throughout class. We talked some on the way home and it's funny how Jennifer seems to get pissed off when he talks to me for a long time, ignoring her. Ha ha. I flirted with the cute roller blader, Kimberly, from across the room, and also talked with Christina for a few minutes at the beginning of class. I actually walked away from Jennifer when Christina came in to talk with her. It's because she's so gorgeous and nice, and thinks I have pretty eyes!

Oh yeah, Emily gave me a present in lab. It was a ring made from gold wire that one of the hippy vendors out on the Plaza of the Americas gave to her the other day. She slipped it onto my pinky. It was pretty cool and I'll actually wear it since it's from her. This was after we were running around spraying deionized water on each other! It was pretty funny!

February 1, 1993 - Monday - Pretty eyes!!!, Emily

What a way to start the new month! My horoscope said that after an annoying month of highs and lows, I'm going to love February. I can't wait!

I sat between Noel and Fran‡oise today in German. A girl named Christina, sat to Noel's right. We talk to each other quite a bit, but she's practically engaged to this guy. She really beautiful, really pretty shoulder length blonde hair, and gorgeous blue eyes. Noel, she and I grouped up today for a little assignment that Elaine made us do. She wore her brown potato sack dress today and it had a chalk line on the back where she had leaned against something. The three of us were being really mean. Christina was saying something about it marking where her waist is, and I agreed saying that we wouldn't be able to tell otherwise! Noel then said, 'Do not fill past the line!' and we had a good laugh. We had to pick an object out of a bag and write sentences using adjectives to describe it. We let Christina pick so that it would be her fault. She pulled out a card that said 'trash' in German. Elaine seemed happy that someone got that one and handed us the trash can. Sicko.

While we were fooling around towards the end of the class, Christina looks at me and tells me that I have the prettiest eyes!!! I was a bit taken back since I had been admiring hers throughout class. I often wonder if my eyes are really as pretty as people say that they are, but with today's little confidence booster out of the blue, I'll never doubt it again. I almost blushed! I remember Rosy, from the Leto school bus a long time ago, climbing over the seat once and telling me that. Of course, Kim and I talked about my eyes all of the time, I'll have to tell her this one. There have also been some other girls that have said that periodically. What an ego boost!

I went to my Chemistry discussion eight period to pick up my quiz and review for the test. It was at 5:10 this evening in my old physics lecture room. I walked in to class, and Vincent put the quizzes out in two piles on the table. Despite his silly name, he's a pretty cool guy, but I'd much rather have Angie. He's an undergraduate and dresses sort of like me. Exactly like me today, in rolled up jean shorts and cotton shirt with a pocket. It's funny. I saw him in the library while I was studying again yesterday with Emily and I think he's starting to recognize me. I looked down, and my paper was on top, with a score of 10!!! out of ten!!!!!! It was even complete with the three exclamation points from the grader! I thought for a second that it must of been an easy quiz, but then wondered about the exclamations. I looked at some of the other grades, and they were all threes, fours and a bunch of other really shitty grades!!! They really sucked!!!

I was so happy and proud of myself, that I left. I figured that if I knew the material that well already, then I'd be much better off rereading the chapters in the library instead of listening to a bunch of stupid peoples' stupid questions. I met up with Emily at the test. She was going to come to the library to meet me, but she had forgotten about her dentist appointment, which is where she studied. The test seemed much more simple than I had expected. Somehow I have obtained an ass-kicking background in chemistry all of the sudden! Go me. It could be that I'm actually taking this class seriously, along with German. I just haven't gotten in the right frame of mind for calculus or social problems yet. I'm better this semester though, because the only class I took seriously last semester was German. Damn I'm good!
