October 25, 1992 - Sunday
What a party! Gainesville has suddenly been transformed into thousands of sweaty, drunk people. And the girls are more gorgeous than ever. I got to the point this weekend where I thought I was going to explode!!! I've been working on my image all week out in the pit. The pit is a huge grassy depression in between Beaty, yulee, and Broward halls. There are oak trees scattered around the edges, and it makes the perfect place to lay out and get a tan when you can't get to a beach. And the weather this week has been beautiful. I actually, at one point, got so hot that I thought for a second that I was at the beach in Tampa. It felt damn good. I love the heat. It has all really paid off, too, because I'm getting dark as hell. It looks really good. I figure this will probably be that tan that has to last me through the winter.
Sunbathing in the pit has it's fringe benefits as well. Almost every other person down there is a girl. And these girls are gorgeous!!! Very gorgeous! And they're not afraid to show off. It's great flirting with them, or waking up to find one gazing at you, and then turning away as she realizes that I'm awake now. I saw one girl who had her top undone, and as a another girl walked up to talk to her, she sat up and just let her tits hang there barely covered by her bra. I was impressed, she was perfect. And I saw a lot more than I should have. Ed and I saw something similar out in front of Beaty the other day when we decided to wash some laundry. These two girls were outside sunbathing. The better looking one sat up with her top still just hanging there unsnapped, and we saw practically all she had to show. I then realized that this is a girl that I've just started seeing around Beaty, and I think she's really cute. She flirts back and I love it. I made sure that she noticed my interest in her as she lay there looking in. It was really cool.
Friday was when the girls came out full force. Ed and I got an early start on the weekend by heading over to the Reitz Union for breakfast. I bought a dozen Dunkin Doughnuts, including six Boston creams for me, and Ed bought pizza for the both of us. There were two cute girls at the table next to us and I flirted. We then headed back to the Towers to get Jon so that we could all head over to the Homecoming Parade. We walked down Thirteenth Street and were being really perverted. I took full advantage of the weekend, never missing a cute girl if possible. We got as close as possible to the street and ended up being right at the front and had perfect views. I took some pictures of some of the better floats, like the Volleyball Team. Patricia Moreno was walking along the side handing out schedules for this weekend's games and handed three to Jon. We were having a fun time, which was made better by the gorgeous girls all around us. Ed and I had a field day picking out the good looking Sorority girls as well as the ones in the crowds. This older guy who was there with his family and friends kept agreeing with my picks and joking with us. It was funny. I saw this girl that I met through Tama the other day, and kept flirting with her. I'm sure that she recognized me because I'm just so hard to forget.
I then looked up and sideways into the crowd, and POP, there was Nicole's ugly little face smiling at me form about twenty feet away. She is up[ for the weekend visiting Ali. She came u with Tanya who is staying over at Cindy and Jana's. Cindy had told me that Tanya was coming, but she didn't mention Nicole. We walked over to each other and hugged and asked each other what was up. I mentioned that I was just in Tampa over the weekend but didn't get around to trying to call her. She said to call Tanya next time to get her number. I gave her mine up here in case she wanted to call before she left. I then went back over with Ed and Jon. Ed ended up heading back a few minutes before we did, because he had a bicycle shopping date with Heidi. Jon and I walked up and down University Ave. once to check out the girls. These two gorgeous girls asked Jon and I for directions. After we old them, I told Jon that they really didn't care about the directions, they were inadvertently telling us to fuck them now, and we had a good laugh.
Later on, Ed and I took a slow bicycle ride around the campus and sucked in all of the cute girls roaming the campus. We just couldn't believe it. At seven, all four of us headed off to Gator Growl. The girl's got even thicker, and we could see serious cleavage everywhere. It's fun scoping for girls with Chris because we'll then do something about it. We flirted with and joked with as many girls as we good. Our seats were on the very last row at the top of the stadium. It wasn't that bad because we had a much better view of the people and the laser shows. They would have been awful seats for a game though. We started a traditional student section paper fight and were throwing things at everyone. It was great. We even had a wave going on at one time. They had some smaller fireworks in the empty stands above the stage in the North end zone. They had two really good comedians, Larry Miller and David Alan Grier. They were great, we were cracking up. Miller had some awesome sex jokes. He was telling women that, when they try to think about what a man is thinking about when he is lusting over a woman, they have NOOOOO idea whatsoever!!! It was great. I almost lost my voice by the end of the Growl, which didn't end until eleven.
Ed and Chris left early to get some warmer clothes back at our room in Beaty, and we were supposed to meet them and Chris' friends outside of Joe's Deli across the street. Jon and I watched the grand finale laser light show. They blew tons of blue and orange crepe paper confetti out of these big tubes around the top of the stadium. We were standing right in it and were grabbing handfuls of it. Lots of it blew over the upper stadium walls and littered the surrounding campus. I was sort of surprised that they did that. Jon and I then headed out. Because I am tall, I can see all of the cute girls, and there were tons of them in the rush to get out. I got pressed up close to quite a few good looking ones. I was flirting a lot and having lots if fun. It was the best night of college so far! Jon and I met up with Mike and George at Joe's, but Chris and Ed never showed up. After an hour, we headed back to Beaty. They then turned up an hour later at the dorm, and after we bitched at them for taking so fucking long, we got in George's truck and went out partying.
We ended up at this big party at some sorority and hung out there for a while. There were some cute girls there but the bastards always leave too early when things start to get good. I met up with this girl from my German class. She was there with her boyfriend and the tall girl that I think is cute from my Physics class. She tried to talk German to me, but she was completely drunk. I'm thinking about making fun of her tomorrow. I drank some beer, and it's actually starting to taste better. We then went to Miami Subs where the girls were just as gorgeous. After we ate, Ed, Jon, and I had George drop us off back at the Towers. Dammit, Homecoming weekend and I didn't get laid!!! Oh well. I'm starting to figure out that you don't need a special occasion. I hope I can find a girl real soon who will prove me right, besides Abby.
On Saturday, Chris' father and Aunt stopped by to pick him up and take him to Jacksonville. His father is really nice and interesting. I liked him a lot. We talked about how your college years are some of the best times of your life, and also about me taking German. After they left, Ed, Jon, and I went shopping for groceries at Albertson's. I ended up saving nine dollars with coupons, and I only had about eight. They were off of things that I would have normally bought anyway, that was good.
At five, Ed and I biked over to the O'Connell Center to see the Florida-Auburn volleyball game. When we got there, the usher told us that because of that nights Kris Kross concert, the game was over in the Florida Gym. When we got there, the Gators were already winning the second set, and the stands were packed. We ended up with front row seats, but all of the way at the corner. They weren't nearly as bad as the ones way up high where we first sat though. I soon got really into the game and remembered why I love volleyball so much. The program had Keri Uptegraph's picture on it. After the game, we headed down to the court to try and get autographs. Because it is Homecoming weekend, many of the girls' families were there visiting on court. I went up to Keri and had her sign the front of her picture. We joked around for a minute. I really like her personality. Ed told me that she reminded him of me. She's really good looking, too. The picture was taken last year and it looked as if she were a bit overweight. From far away she looks a little big, but when you're next to her, she's gorgeous. Proportioned perfectly! I was amazed. I also asked for and got Gudy to sign one, too. Now I'm going to have them laminated at Target Copy so that I can save them forever.
I went to today's game at two o'clock by myself. this one really was in the O'Connell Center. I just wanted to get a couple of this game's posters. Every home game, the programs have a different player on the front. This time it was Patricia Moreno, from Brazil. I decided to go ahead and go in. There weren't that many people so I went down about three rows up from the net. After I realized that I was on the wrong side of the net, facing the teams, instead of behind them as usual. I got up, pick up two programs, and went around to the other side. I sat about three seats up from the center of the net. Keri recognized me. I could tell because of the way she reacted when she first saw me. So did Gudula. Ed, Jon, and I joked that Keri will think that I am some kind of psycho or something if I go to games by myself and stare at her. Of course, I didn't.
