I worked on the Kumba all day long today and had a pretty good time doing so. I was supposed to work the early shift, which I don't really like, until Dayanara called me yesterday and asked me to switch. I also got more hours this way which is really cool. I sat in the breakroom this morning with Dayanara, Terri, and a few others before I came to work. We were joking around, and having fun. When we went up to Kumba, Alan let me have first go at the control panel.
I was really nice to Karim today, trading places with her when she was on boardwalk. We talked yesterday while I was at Kiddie Rides and as we said goodbye she brushed her cheek against mine, giving me a farewell kiss. We were comparing skin color today, because she's just as dark as me. She said that we having different kinds of tan, however. I said that makes mine better because I have the possibility of being ghost white, but she'll always have a bit of color. She argued that her boob is that white and I went to look, but we decided that we should wait until later! It might not be that good of an idea to do so in the plaza in front of the bumper cars!
I also talked a lot with my friend, Terri, today. We were talking about her and her lover having sex while they spent time together this weekend. She is always very happy after the weekends and we made all kinds of sexual reference that were funny, yet true. She told me about the feelings that her mother and his father have towards them sleeping together. his father won't allow them in the same room together at night, and she things that's bullshit. It was funny. I was on button and she was the rear unloader while we were talking. We were laughing a lot and I made sure that Karim and Dayanara up in the booth saw that.
Dayanara and I played around quite a bit, too. I always compliment her, to which she always condemns. We were holding hands for a long time across the table in the lounge once for some reason. She's rather interesting. She had to tell some of the others about my goal to become as dark as her by the end of the summer. She really finds that to be funny. I got her a big cup of water once while she was at the turnstile and this guy asked if I was bringing that for him. I did go back and surprised him with a small cup of water to the amusement of him and those around him. It was funny.
I also talked quite a bit with Laura today. She came and sat across from me every time she came in. She told me that she was upset about what I said the other day about knowing about all of the cute girls in the class. I apologized and told her that I was joking and thought that she knew that or wouldn't have continued. I think she was joking today, though. We were talking about what class we'll be in this semester and we've kind of decided that we want to be in the same classes together. She was also telling me about her roommates and was mentioning me meeting them. She told me that the one will always talk about her boyfriend in the military when I meet her, but then changed it to if I meet her. She was trying not to seem to jumpy on our relationship by misinterpreting my intentions. Well, she pegged them right. I'm hoping we'll be back and forth in between rooms quite a bit. I stopped by the Mamba after I got off work to say goodbye to her. She seemed happy that I did.
Stephanie has been trying to use me some more. I was wrestling with her in the control panel in front of Karim over who got to go to height stick. She said she's pay me and I later told her to fess up in the lounge, but I didn't make her pay. We were hanging all over each other though, and she called me over and leaned on me as I was leaving. We were sitting together earlier in the lounge and she was sharing a granola bar with me. She hand fed me one piece, and then gave me some Coke. We were mentioning the fondnesses of sex as well. She was looking at my class ring and then asked if she could wear it. I told her, `Fuck no!,' knowing that I'd probably never see it again and would hate to have to go to jail after I killed her.
I sat next to Jan at lunch today. I even stole one of her McDonald's French fries. We've been talking to each other a lot lately the past few days. That's cool since she's the big unit supervisor of the whole area. We'll say hello to each other and joke around a little whenever we see each other. Good.
I saw these three really cute fifteen year olds today when I was out on boardwalk. They stopped at a bench and looked around nervously so I kept an eye on them. They then pulled out a pack of cigarettes. After each had one in their hand, I walked up and said, `Ladies, you all are too young to be smoking, I'm going to have to confiscate your cigarettes!' They quickly handed them over and I started laughing and told them I was kidding as I handed them back. They were quite relieved. It was very funny and they ended up saying hi to me later on the Kumba. I also saw this gorgeous girl at the gift shop near Congo River Rapids who kept looking up at me with a beautiful glitter in her eyes. I said hi as I walked by, and she said hello in a very wonderful voice that stuck in my head for some time afterwards. I wish I would have stuck around to talk to her. Maybe later.
I also saw Carrie and Nicole, the girls from Sea World today. They called me as I was walking by a food stand once with Kevin on our way to do a trash run. They rode Kumba later. I suddenly looked down to see the big one take a picture of me! Carrie then urged her to take another after they got off. I saw them later and Carrie laughed that she got a picture of me. I told her that she'd have top send me a copy and she said that they'll have to bring me one. that was cool, though.
