I went to Caribsa's Reggae Splash today at noon with Leigh Anne and Jon. I had gone last year via bicycle with Ed and it was a lot cooler actually having my own towel to sit on this year in a space right in the middle of the crowd. There ended up being all kinds of attractive women nearby including Heidi who I have dubbed a perfect ten, or the closest I have ever come to seeing one. The music was really cool and I ended up getting over three hours of hot sun which was great. Every once in a while I would walk over to the pool and go swimming for a few minutes to cool off. I was rather enjoying walking around almost naked with my awesome tan and see through bathing suit. (I wondered why that girl was looking at me like that!!!)
I glanced up and noticed Ashley arriving once the place was crowded and quickly laid down and closed my eyes. I wasn't in the mood for Leigh Anne's bullshit and Ashley was with a couple of her sisters and a guy. All of the sudden she kicked my head a lot harder than she had planned and I opened my eyes and said hello. They kept walking and all I remember were the two girls laughing at what she did. She came over with one of the girls later and talked to me and said she was really sorry for kicking me so hard and said her friends were laughing because they didn't know whether or not she knew who I was. It was funny. I was in her room a little while ago and and she hit my arm and I thanked her saying that new dent knocked the dent out of my head and we started laughing.
I just went down for a little while to help her with some physics and I actually taught her what she was confused with which is cool. I talked to Laura a bit and got to see all of the pictures from their spring break cruise to Mexico. A couple of the pictures were from today's reggae event and she had just gotten the roll developed!

March 14, 1994 - Monday - Reba with Ashley!!!!!!!!
This month is turning out to be rather eventful in the female category. It seems like I am able to build up a girl's lust for me and then place it in a limbo of sorts for later use. The only down side was the fact that I didn't get as far with Shar¡ as I thought I had wanted to. I did get some physical stuff from her which I am thankful for.
Then came Sarah whom I talked to a couple of times over the break. The first night we talked for over an hour and a half. We talked again for quite a while on Thursday night as well. She was talking about how she wants to come up a lo next year to visit and all and was asking where I'd be living. We also were saying how we are both looking forward to each other getting out of school for the summer which was cool. She'd trying for a job at the Kumba and we said how cool it would be if we ended up working together over the summer.
I was urging Christina to try and get a job in that area, too. There would be my direct access to Shar¡ for the summer. Christina and I also talked a lot about two of her friends, Tracy and Maria. She said both have little boys and are rather attractive. She was telling me what I would and wouldn't like about them and she seemed eager to introduce them to me over the summer. That'd be awesome! She joked once that she wouldn't introduce me to any more of her friends after what she did to me emotionally by introducing me to Shar¡. That was funny but I strongly encouraged her otherwise. She said Maria is really skinny and that's kind of a fantasy of mine. We'll see.....
I called Abby over the break and she returned my call later that night. I instantly recognized her voice and said her name. She seemed impressed. We ended up talking that night for four hours about everything possible from sex to religion. I confessed that I really should have gone out with her and was bringing up all of the good things that happened in high school to us and told her how I "really" felt back then. She asked me once if I have ever been in love and I stupidly told her the truth about Shar¡. She then said that she has twice, once she wasn't going to talk about because it was weird, and also with Trinity. She sounded solemn and I suddenly wondered if that other person had been me and I just told her about loving someone else. Whoops!
We soon overcame that and made a date for the next night. She kept mentioning how she was going to make pancakes for breakfast the next morning and I almost ended up going over but I was going to the beach so I didn't pursue it. When I got home we were looking for a movie to see and I said I was going to treat and she seemed really surprised and said that it is so rare to find a guy like that. I was tired and hot from sunburn and there were no good movies so I started thinking maybe we shouldn't go out. She was determined and we finally decided to go run around in the airport. That ended up being pretty fun. We then drove by the causeway and you could feel the tension between us. She asked me what I was thinking once, so I kissed her and we started our red light kissing game once again. We then went out to Publix and bought ice cream and ate it. We then started making out in the car and I only went as far as feeling her breasts. However, I think the point was made even after we hadn't talked in one and a half years, and maybe more will happen this summer.
I stopped by to visit father on the way home from the beach that day. He told me that Vicki was supposed to come in at five so we went to Burger King for lunch at four. Vicki is this girl who he has shown pictures of me to and he has always wanted me to meet her because she has big tits. She gave him a picture and she looks rather good. She ended up not coming in, though, so I'll have to wait to meet this one. He did give me the picture of her, though, and I have bragged that my dad is trying to set me up with this one and everybody thinks that is cool!
I was horny and also had a very evil ulterior motive upon my return to Gainesville. First, however came even more good clean fun. Ed and Roswitha showed up Saturday and we chatted. Roswitha looked rather nice with the bit of tan she did get. She had gotten four movie passes from her brother I think and they asked if I would like to go to a movie that night. I said sure and Roswitha called and found out what was playing. We opted for The Chase which ended up being an awesome movie and we all loved it. It was probably one of the best I have seen in a long time. Toys was cool for the props, Scent of a Woman was great, and the best of all time was The Crying Game!!! Roswitha really wants to see it but Ed won't let her and I joked that we'll rent it sometime if he won't. We all had a good time at the movies though which was cool. I felt extra special because they could have both gone twice but they broke up the second pair just for me.
I then had a dream last night that was really believable. Ed was in the kitchen cooking and I was in my bed reading the paper. Roswitha then came in and climbed in bed with me just to relax and we kept brushing against each other and finally started holding each other and kissing. It felt so real! I didn't wake up wither and the dream continued in other parts of the school where Roswitha would try and be with me whenever Ed wasn't looking. It was cool. Then tonight, they were getting ready to go study when all of the sudden Roswitha joked that she was going to stay with me and watched TV. She then got ready to walk out the door with her bookbag. I was eating. (Time to be careful... they just walked in the door!!!) I looked up at her remembering the dream and prayed that she would stay just for an awesome coincidence's sake. She suddenly turned back and did stay!!! It was awesome and I couldn't help but laugh about the whole thing!
I told Chris because he has had a similar dream about her before. What I have never told Chris is that I have had a similar dream about him and Marty. It was at the house in tampa and Chris was cooking in the kitchen. Marty and I were in the back bedroom and she was very mean tempered and was almost yelling at me to kiss her. I was just thinking about how controversial it would be if they were to read this anytime soon. That'd suck.
"You still have my heart in the palm of your hand, I still look like a fool in front of your friends. I wish somehow I didn't know now what I didn't know then." - just some country song playing right now.....
I had called Ashley Thursday night in Tampa but her mom said her cruise didn't return until Friday morning and my dad and I would be gone by then. She called me last night and asked what was up. I was in the middle of dinner and also on the phone with Leigh Anne at the time so I told her I'd call her back. Ed and Roswitha had showed up and the phone rang. I answered it but joked that it wouldn't be for me because I've just talked to the only two people who would be calling me. The phone rang again a few minutes later and Ed answered and it was indeed for me! It was Ashley again. She said she was going to run over to Fruit and Yogurt for a salad and asked if I'd come with her. She said that she was just going to drive over and come back but didn't want to go alone. I had just finished eating and said I'd go.
I told her, however, that I'd much rather walk. My only goal was to spend as much time as possible with her sop we could talk. SHe asked me if I realized that the place is all of the way over by the fitness center and I said yes, and said that the exercise would do us good. She quickly agreed and told me that if we walk she wants to eat over there and I'll have to watch her eat her salad and I didn't lie as I said that was perfectly fine.
I got ready and met her down in her room as planned. Laura was cooking her dinner and we said hello. She herself looked very good. Ashley looked awesome with her tan. She showed if off very well with flimsy white cotton shorts and a matching V-neck shirt!!! My favorite, especially when she would pull it out on various occasions during the evening which would give me a nice view because of my height. We chatted with Laura for a few minutes and then headed out. Just outside the dorm, she slid on something and came close to busting and we laughed that maybe walking wasn't such a good idea after all. I then took her by her shoulders to guide her.
We made it out to the restaurant across University Avenue and the little place was rather packed. There was a nice little table outside on the sidewalk that had just opened up and I went and got it for us. I even stood back to open the door for her as she arrived with her food. I made her wait for me to get the door back at Beaty and she says that she's just not use to a guy being nice enough to do hat anymore.
We had a very good talk all of the way over and all through dinner. She told me all about her cruise to Mexico and how she lost LAura and almost got stuck there. It was a funny story now that she looks back on it but she was scared shitless at the time. We were close to the O'Connell Center where Reba McEntire was having a concert with John Michael Montgomery and John Barry. They are all awesome! I had just heard about it on the radio earlier that day for the first time and thought that it would be cool to go. Ashley was saying how much she and Laura had wanted to go and we joked that we should go listen outside.
After Ashley had finished her dinner, she went inside for some yogurt and asked if I wanted any. I declined and she returned with fat free mint chocolate chip with fat free fudge brownie yogurt. She asked if I wanted to try it and I said no. She told me that she'd eat it on the walk home so I wouldn't have to wait any longer and I told her to sit down because it was a beautiful evening and neither one of us were in a rush. She agreed and hopped down.
This black fellow walked up and suddenly told us that he has two Reba tickets for five dollars a piece and we should really go because it would be great. We figured it was probably too late and said no. It quickly hit us what had just happened and we realized what an opportunity that we had just passed up. She didn't have enough money but I was more than happy to treat and say it was a birthday present. I called for him to come back and I don't know if he heard me but he was there again a few minutes later. I bought the tickets after he said they were pretty good seats and he then hopped right in a car and sped away. I thought that was odd, but for ten dollars for two Reba tickets, it was worth the risk.
She jumped up with her yogurt and we hurried over to the stadium. We were both extremely amazed at the chances of something like that happening to two people who wanted to go as much as we did. It was a chance in a million and we just couldn't get over how lucky we had been. She told me that if I hadn't said to wait while she ate her yogurt, then this wouldn't have ever happened. I later kept thinking to myself as I looked around at the full stadium that all those fools paid in excess of twenty five dollars a ticket and we got ours for five!!!!!
Our seats were indeed good, right in front of the speaker with an almost full view of the stage. We got to hear the last two songs of John Michael Montgomery, one by John Barry, and we saw Reba's entire set!!! For five dollars!!!!! We could never have planned it better if we had tried forever! It was the purest form of spontaneity which had given me a natural high. What an awesome way to impress Ashley!!! And I knew how much she's brag later, especially to Laura and that we be awesome, too.
We had an awesome time and that was definitely the best concert of my life. I recognized and liked all but one song and she even sung my favorite of hers, The Greatest Love I Knew. It was perfect. A lot of her songs are love songs about the other person doing you wrong and I pertained it to Shar¡ and she to Daniel and we talked about that the entire time. We would pretend to be upset and would put our arms around each other and I asked why do we keep doing this to ourselves. It was the funniest thing. We were laughing about the whole thing and I said at least we can joke about it all and she agreed immensely. It was just so fucking awesome!!!
I called her tonight to see if she wanted to study but she was still at chapter so I actually talked to Laura. Laura is pledging but got to come home early. Our conversation turned to Shar¡ and I told her that we weren't back together and Laura said that she thought we were. We eventually were talking about the party again and she mentioned again how I broke her heart. We mentioned a few other things about the possibilities of us going out and if she keeps it up I might actually begin to believe her! She was complimenting me a lot and she said that she missed how we used to work and sweat and bullshit together back at Busch. She also was swearing that she remembers now how there used to be two tall people in chemistry and she used to think we'd make a good couple. I laughed and said I couldn't date Emily because she was Catholic!!! So is Laura but I quickly changed that. I even had the opportunity to remember Laura's birthdate off the top of my head and she was impressed.
She said that she and Eric used to talk about me at Busch which is why he knows who I am, but she was being basically sarcastic. I was amazed and told her I had gone, too, and that we should have gone together. It was the funniest thing, but we soon said goodbye because I was cooking. I owe that black fellow one.

May 3, 1993 - Monday - Concert with Kimmeth
Well, I'm back home for the summer! I'm finally done! What I had hoped to be a dazzling reunion with Kimmeth, a summer of good times and passion, sort of died when she said that she is leaving soon. I still was looking forward to seeing her, but it didn't seem as important as it used to. I called her house Friday night, but she had just left for the night. She returned the call later on Saturday night and we talked for over an hour. Some friends of hers were visiting and she had spent the day at Busch Gardens. She says that the new Kumba roller coaster is awesome. I'm really excited about it, and have watched it on the VCR countless times. She said that she was sort of tired and really didn't want to go out with them again. Instead, she wanted to know if I wanted to do something. I declined!!! I too was tired, and it was a little too late to get ready and then go all of the way to her house. We opted instead to go to the beach Sunday morning.
That prompted immediate flashbacks of Abby. My mind got a little creative, putting Kimmeth in Abby's place. It kind of made me wonder about things... Unfortunately, the entire sky was grotesquely cloudy, so I decided that we wouldn't hit the beach. Maybe we should have. A romantic walk on the beach is a romantic walk, no matter what the sky looks like. She mentioned being really hungry, and asked if I'd like to go to breakfast. I declined again!!!, figuring I'd do something with my family since Chrissy and Cathy were out of school and father is on vacation this week. The people in town ended up calling while we were on the phone, and she was able to make a breakfast date after all. She said that she'd call back later that night.
I found out from her that she won't be leaving until two weeks from Wednesday. I was happy because that gave us a little more time. She also told me what really is causing her to move back to Ft. Lauderdale. She told me in all seriousness, not trying to hurt me in any way, that she really feels like she's in a rut in Tampa. There are better jobs and all of her friends waiting for her back in Ft. Lauderdale. She also told me about a friend of hers named Peggy whom used to be her best friend for a long time. Peggy has since gone through a lot of really depressing and horrible situations here in Tampa.
I found out that she and her parents were the ones that took Kim to Tennessee that time when Kim was fourteen. She said that they came back drunk on moonshine one night and started cutting down on Peggy asking her why she couldn't be more like Kim! Even though it turns out that this argument had occurred before, Kim was never there and she freaked out. She ran out which really pissed them off. Peggy caught up with her, and at some point they looked up at the sky. She said that suddenly all of her problems had been sucked away when she saw the pure beauty of the stars! It can be quite pretty up there. She said that Peggy's parents packed right up and took them home, saying that they had ruined the vacation. They didn't talk for the entire trip, and when they were at Kim's house, she was afraid to go because she knew that Peggy would be screamed at, but she was glad to be home. the two of them got out and said goodbye. She later found out that Peggy's parents called her rude and selfish for not thanking them for the trip when she left!
Anyway, she did call back at about midnight. She said that she had something sort of silly to ask of me. She was supposed to drive her brother and his two friends, a married couple, to an Indigo Girls concert in St. Petersburg, and wanted me to come so that she and I could do something while they were at the concert. She said that perhaps we could buy two tickets and see the concert. I agreed. She called me back a few minutes later and said that she worked until five today, and just to show up at her house at six. We also were talking more about rejection lately, and about how it seems to be happening a lot lately.
I left the house at five, thinking the traffic would make the trip take quite a while. I drove by Busch Gardens to take a look at the Kumba. It looks awesome! I then headed over to her house. I was still fifteen minutes early, and her car wasn't there. I saw a guy sitting on the porch, and I figured it to be her brother. I asked him if she was home yet while I walked into the yard, and he said no. He has blue eyes, a little pony tail, and about four earrings mostly on his left ear. I introduced myself as Dan, and so did he! Later, when Kim was calling him Danny, I realized that he is that only brother who is younger than her. the one she doesn't really respect. He told me that his two friends couldn't make it, and if I could come up with twenty bucks, I was welcome to come. I said sure, if Kim agrees.
I asked to sit down in the other chair, and then we talked a little until she showed up. She looked really tired and sweaty. She looked a lot like she used to in the pictures of her from a few years ago. She talked to Danny, telling him to drive down the road and fill her car with gas. She then looked at me, we smiled and said hi. she then said, `Nice haircut!' and walked into the house. I cut a lot of the top off with Jon's clippers the night before my sociology exam, including my forelock. I sat out front reading the paper while Kim took a shower. She later said that she cut her bangs, and then I realized why she looked like her pictures. I really wish she hadn't done that! She then said that she did tell me that I needed to cut my hair, but that I went a bit overboard. I explained that I needed to do it for Busch Gardens, anyway.
While I was sitting on the porch, her mother stuck her head out the door, and we said hello. She then thought for a second and asked if I was Dan. She was all happy with herself for remembering as she went back inside. It was funny. I locked up my car as she opened hers, and put Danny in the back seat. Good. I wasn't quite sure how our conversation would be with Danny in the back, but it went surprisingly well. She and I talked the entire way, and he stayed relatively quiet. If I would say something funny, she would put her hand on my knee, or hit me slightly if I would be a little rude about something. I brought along my map of St. Petersburg, and we ended up using it to find the Bayfront Center. After we parked, we went to a franchised Pizza Hut/Restaurant that was really nice. The interior architecture looked like something out of Miami, very cool and relaxing. The main dining area and the entertainment area were separated from the ordering bar. They even had a fifty cent pool table.
I had already eaten, but decided to get a milkshake. Kimmeth was the hungry one, and the three of us combined the last of all of our monies to pay for the food. It was funny, we were all broke, kind of. Towards the end, I pulled out my twenty that I owed Danny, and paid him. he was happy to be the one with the money now. Kim asked him to buy her another Coke and a brownie on credit. It was funny. There seemed to be a majority of girls going to this concert. We were looking at the ones coming in, and she kept trying to find me ones I'd like, but I'd always find a flaw. I mentioned majoring it microbiology, and then saying how I no longer like the idea of Germany and England as places to live. Because of their socialized medical systems, the doctors must work much harder to get paid more, with an obvious lack of patient-doctor communication. We said that I could just visit every once in a while.
Danny piped up and said that they'd love an American doctor there, to take me hostage. I laughingly said that I always wanted to visit Syria. One of the two got serious for a moment and asked me what I thought about the US sending troops to Bosnia, because of the war between Bosnia and Syria. I laughed to myself and corrected them that it's Bosnia and Sarajevom, or Serbia. I then said that I think it will just be a step by Clinton to raise his popularity, because he won't leave until the job is complete, unlike Bush in Iraq. We also talked about Somalia for a second. What a political disaster! It was weird having a political conversation with them, and we soon stopped.
Towards the end of our little `meal,' I pulled out a twenty, and paid Danny. He was now happy to be the only one with money. He joked that it was Kim's turn to pay up. She joked that she didn't want to pay because the only reason that he wanted her to go was because she was his only ride to St. Pete. I told him that he could have always taken that bicycle I saw him with and we laughed. SHe then asked him to go buy her another Coke and a brownie on credit, and he oblidged. We started talking about her hair. She said that she has started using a new shampooa nd it makes her hair really soft. She then had me rubbing my fingers through it as well.
It was funny how well Danny and I were getting along. We were joking around about the girls and were being a little perverted. We were running around looking for the bathrooms for the two of them and Danny said that he saw a girl walk into the men's bathroom. I said that I'd be right back and started heading towards the door. Danny and I laughed, but Kim pulled on my arm and said, 'Not funny.' She then took me off into this bar where there was a women's restroom in the back. It looked like a trendy dance club early in the evening because the people were just starting to get drunk, but the girls looked pretty hot. I went and sat at a table looking out over the bay and flirted with a couple of girls until Kim came back out. There was a small stage that we walked across. We stopped and joked that we had finally made it to center stage,a nd bowed. It was cute. When we headed back it was already dark, and we had trouble stepping on everybody as we scooted down the aisle back to our seats.
There was a rather annoying opening act, and we were looking more at the people around us than listening to her. there was a younger couple up two rows in front of us. She kept kissing every exposed part of his body, making out. Kimmeth was the first to get a sickening feeling about it having been so long, and I soon fell in as well. We were looking at each other rather intently, and I made a mean comment telling her that we could switch seats and maybe she'd get lucky on the other side. It used to be that I was really scared of trying anything because I didn't want to scare off such a beautiful friend, which has probably been a big mistake. Now I don't seem to care that much anymore since she's leaving. There's a sense of denial within me that just wants to grab a hold of her and keep her forever.
Between the first act, and the Indigo Girls, Kim was trying to get a little sleep. She leaned over and put her head on my shoulder. It was really cute and I wanted so badly to put my arm up around her. Fuck me!!! I guess I shouldn't be so hard on myself, for my sanity's sake. Later on we were joking around, and were still showing disgust over the couple in front of us. I rolled up the program and got up like I was going to start beating them apart. Kim really liked that. A big group of lesbians sat in the row in front of us and were rather annoying and unpleasant to look at. Towards the middle of the concert, they started standing up so I started yelling at them. I first told them to sit down,a nd then I yelled that they have seats for a reason. Kim laughed but they were convinced, and stayed down for most of the remainder of the concert. When they did finally stand again at the end, I found that sitting on the back of my seat was rather comfortable, and Kim came up and joined me.
Kim really likes the Indigo Girls and knows most of their songs. their lyrics are really good, they really make you think. I can get lost within myself when I listen to their music, completely relaxed. kim was singing, and doing so very beautifully, I might add. I kept encouraging her on. I really enjoyed having my own personal show. We left a few minutes early before the crowd did. Kim wanted to get home because she had work in the morning at 7:30. Danny took the back again. This time Kim and I just couldn't stop talking. We were sort of toying with the idea of me coming to Ft. lauderdale and living with her. She said that she could get me a job down there. I would love that more than anything!
I was also being wonderfully sweet! There were two outstanding situations where I made a comment that was very complimentary and she really seemed happy when I did so. She joked one time that we could go visit the guy that never called her back. She said that she'd really like to ask him why he never did. I then said that Danny and I would then thank him and then go have a beer! She joked that I would then slip him a fifty for ditching her and leaving her for me. I corrected her, saying I'd only leave a ten. As she started getting offended, I told her that I'd much rather spend the rest going out with her! I kept wondering what her brother was thinking as he listened from the back of the car.
After we got back to her house, Kim and I sat outside talking for a little while. One of her other brothers came up on a bicycle and knocked over an old water cooler off of the porch. Their mom came out to see what all of the fuss was. After he picked it up he ran inside and washed his hands and then came back out and shook mine. He's the one that she showed me a picture of way back. I told Danny that it was nice meeting him as he left, and Kim said, `Again!' I didn't realize until a few minutes later that she thought I had already met her brothers before, but this time was a first for both of them. When I left she said that she'd call me after work tomorrow.
She later said that she cut her bangs, and then I realized why she looked like her pictures. I really wish she hadn't done that! She then said that she did tell me that I needed to cut my hair, but that I went a bit overboard. I explained that I needed to do it for Busch Gardens, anyway.

March 30, 1993 - Tuesday - Emily, late talk, Eagles
It's a beautiful, hot, sunny day outside right now. The trees are finally green again, and there are stunning girls laying out everywhere. My social problems class just got cancelled, and I was thinking that I might take the time to enjoy it. Instead, I wholeheartedly decided that my latest feelings about Emily must be told before the memories of them fade away. I've had a very busy schedule lately, but fun nonetheless.
My first inclination Sunday night was to go to a classroom and study, without any interruptions from the rest of the world, but the prospect that either Kimmeth or Emily might call kept me home. I worked on chemistry for a while, and Emily did indeed call. She came over about half an hour later, and we studied for quite some time.
I had baked a chocolate cake with milk chocolate frosting topped with M&Ms on Saturday. I wouldn't let Karen or Kelly cut it for fear that they would eat it all! It had yet to be cut when Emily was over. I told her that I baked her a cake, and she was really surprised to see that it really wasn't cut yet. It was really funny. She joked that she gains more calories in my room than anywhere else. She has fun doing so, though. I was thrilled to learn that my cake came out deliciously!!! She exclaimed that it was so moist, and tasted so good! It was, in fact, some of the best cake I've tasted in a long time. She kept saying all of the things that are usually wrong with a cake, and how mine wasn't like that. Chris also said that it was delicious, and moist, too. I was really happy!
Anyway, I found out more about her personal feelings and thoughts that night than ever before. We started talking about the problems between men and woman, and how they pertain to us. I personally believe that the biggest problem is that we don't communicate well enough. If everybody could truthfully tell each other how they feel about each other, then the world would be an entirely different place.
I found out that Chris, Emily's little freak nerd friend, has expressed an extreme liking for her. He has practically given her an ultimatum to go out with him. She thinks he's a freak. She says that he can be really sweet, but he's the ultimate social outcast. She says that she never has a good time with him in public, and he is very undecisive. She ended up saying that she really hates him, but doesn't want to completely blow his feelings out of the water. He's causing her a lot of stress, and I've been trying to comfort her through it. She also knows my opinion of him.
Anyway, Ed then comes in, and I brought him into the conversation. We had our first late night roommate talk in a long time. I recalled the times that all four of us would stay up until three in the morning, sometimes with Valerie, just talking about life. It's been a while. We had a really good discussion just about the way things are between men and women, about love, and sex. I found out that Emily has no attraction to Nick whatsoever, but he's a good friend and is there when she needs him. I was very relieved to her so, because he worried me. She also restated her hatred for Chris. Ed started some kind of bullshit saying that it really sounds like she likes him, and she and I just looked at each other and almost laughed. He kept telling her that she should try and overlook his faults because people can't be changed. I started getting really pissed at him because he was trying to undo all that I have worked for towards her entirely ditching Chris. I think he finally got the fucking idea because he tried to redeem himself by telling her to get rid of him, because she obviously doesn't like him.
He then kept rambling on and on and we really wanted him to shutup. She had some really good points during the conversation though. It seems like she doesn't really want to date anybody right now. We were talking about meeting people quickly that want a relationship very quickly. She then said that it's a lot better in classroom situations, and then she referred to me, where you get to slowly know the person. She was also talking about how some guys that she really doesn't want to be with will always ask to see her during a meal. She views that as a more private time and doesn't like it when they try to force themselves on her just because she has to eat, too. She also again expressed her dislike of guys that are completely devoted to a girl, because it removes all of the mystery.
Emily used to have a `problem' of constantly talking about lots of other guys to her guy friends. Even when there is no romantic interest, a guy doesn't really like that. She has toned it down a lot, and has admitted doing so. Ed started cutting her down for doing it. She retaliated by telling him that she shouldn't have to hide interesting parts of her life just because she did it with another guy. She then said told him that it's perfectly all right to tell Chris that she had a really fun time with Dan on Sunday night, picking an arbitrary day. I still felt special, though.
We finally got back to doing some more chemistry, and she then went home a little bit after two.
Chris and I went and finally bought groceries yesterday afternoon. I had coupons, so I bought the ingredients for two more cakes. I also bought more Oreos and Cool Whip, for Emily and I. Chris had to carry a couple of letters to the mailbox in the commons when we got back, and I went with him. I always look into the study lounge to see the cute girls! Right at the table by the door, sat Emily! I was surprised and wondered why she was there. I figured that she called, and then studied there until I got back. I figured that I'd leave her alone until we had carried up the groceries and unpacked them. To my surprise, there was no message! Ed then decided to leave to study. I walked down with him to see Emily, and to make sure that he didn't sit with her. It turned out that she saw Jon leaving, and he told her that I was shopping, hence no message was left.
She asked if I wanted to play pool and I said definitely. I rented the only remaining unbroken Q-stick so that nobody would get it while we were upstairs, and then left it in the lounge with Ed. We went up and she helped me to finish unpacking my groceries. She said it was fun looking at all of the stuff I bought. She asked for a piece of cake, and we split a drink. She beat me three times, but I only have about three or four balls left nowadays. On one shot, I called a pretty hard combo. Not only did I make the combo, but I sunk two more of my balls as well!!! That was awesome, and she saw the entire thing!
We then played table tennis. She beat me when we played real games, but not by too much, considering that the only time I had ever played was once at the beginning of the fall semester. She then played the piano while I practiced. She is literally awesome. She took lessons for thirteen years until her Junior year in high school. It was really beautiful listening to her play, and she seemed to like the attention. She played a couple of love songs from the radio. We then would play short games of table tennis in between. It was fun.
We later went back upstairs and talked for a while. She organized a group of people to have spaghetti at her house tonight, and then go see the Eagles concert. An opening came up and she told Chris about it. She really regretted doing so. I didn't want to rush and say that I'd like to go instead. I didn't have to, because she soon asked me if I wanted to go. She said that she'd call him and try her hardest to get him not to go. She handled herself very well, and ditched him very efficiently, for tonight at least. It's really cool because I'll be with her now. There are lot of guys going, but still. Maybe I'll make some beneficial new acquaintances. She was asking me how exactly to make spaghetti, and I volunteered my services. We're meeting in a little while to get the groceries and head to her house to make dinner. It will be fun spending the day with her again.
I'm meeting her outside of GPA right after sixth period. Her biology lab and my class both end then. I have to walk all of the way there again since mine was cancelled. It really sucked. I did meet this one girl who I had been looking at in class, and we talked for quite a while. We've already promised to talk again on Thursday, so I'll see. What a week? The endless summer is back!!!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It's just past 11:30 in the night right now, and I just got home from Emily's. Here's how my day went:
I walked again to the front of GPA with my bags when sixth period should have ended. I sat around the rock, looking at the gorgeous girls that practically live in that area between classes. A little freak preacher guy walking around talking to people sitting by themselves. I was ready to tell him to fuck off, but I instead laid down and `slept' for a little while. He didn't bother me either. Emily soon rode up. Her lab was let out early, and she had been off playing pool. Scum. We then went to her car parked way across University Avenue. Her mother was going to pick up the sauce and dessert for our spaghetti dinner, but we had to go to Albertson's to get the rest.
We had a fun little time shopping. I used my superb produce selection skills to help her find quality vegetables for our salad. She just wanted little shitty iceberg lettuce, but I insisted on a real head of leafy lettuce, which made a very nice salad. We then walked around getting all of the other stuff, playing around a lot in the process. I figured that I'd better have fun with her now, before all of her men came over. I vowed to actually befriend them and have a good time. I remembered a couple of essential things that she almost forgot, such as the garlic bread, which she was very glad I remembered. We then went to her house and listened to music and messed around for a little while.
When her mother came home, we met, and talked for a few minutes. She seemed a lot less `confident' than I suspected Emily's mother to be. Her dad was the same way though. I found out from Emily a little earlier that they own three additional houses that they rent out. Real estate, I'm impressed. She then went into her office and tended to her business, leaving us alone, which was cool. We browned the five pounds of hamburger, and added almost four jars of Ragu sauce. We also added pureed canned tomatoes, and lots of spices. We were just going through her cabinet, oregano, garlic, cinnamon, and more. I thought the cinnamon would add a bit of sweetness, and it worked very well. Our sauce turned out to be awesome considering that it's made from Ragu. We were really proud of ourselves. We then cut up all of our salad stuff and made an awesome looking salad. We also heated the bread in the oven, and I sliced it. We set up the tables on the patio in two groups. We talked and relaxed all the while, having a pretty cool time. I also met Tommy, her brother.
At six, we changed into our better clothes. Jonathan and Rick, whom I have met in the Plaza of the America's came in first. This surfer guy named Pablo showed up, too. I went on the patio and talked to Rick and Jonathan. Rick turns out to be a graduated aerospace engineer from Purdue, but he is taking mechanical engineering at UF because he can't get a job!!! He says there are people much better than him that couldn't find jobs either! It sucks for Jon. I told him that my original declared major was aerospace, and Rick told me to definitely find another route. Jonathan is a mechanical engineer. Pablo and Emily came in and sat down, Emily next to me. We had a generic little conversation. It turns out that out of all eleven people, no more than two knew each other before this, which was pretty cool. That way nobody felt alienated by everyone else already knowing each other. We were all in the same situation.
Valerie, a hot blonde, showed up. She instantly looked at me and exclaimed that she recognizes me from somewhere. that was cool. I asked her where she went to high school. She said Rio. I guess I obviously don't know her from before college. Her father as in the military, and she has lived all over the world. Her parents live in China right now, which is where she will be over the summer. She has no idea of what she wants to become, and I tried to help her a little, but she ended up deciding that she will just marry a millionaire. Emily kept offering and getting a cupful of lemonade for each of her guests. I laughed and said that I would like a cup, too. I was nice and got it myself, though. As soon as I was back on the porch, I sat down and drank some of my drink. Emily came back in and sat next to me again. She picked up my glass and took a big swig, and thanked me. It was funny, and Valerie laughed.
We served the spaghetti pretty soon, and I sort of nicely forced my way into the seat I wanted. You could tell that Pablo wanted to sit with the cute girls and didn't want to really associate with the rest of Emily's friends. Instead, I got to sit with Emily and Valerie, across from harmless old Rick. Dinner was really good and everybody seemed to like it well enough. This girl named Cindy also came. Emily said that I wouldn't like her because she is fat, but she was barely overweight and was actually somewhat cute. She's a middle class country girl, and she's already 28! She works in the pediatrics division at Shands Hospital, which is how she knows Emily. Cindy sat with Emily's family and this gay guy named Farell. He would have been much better off if Emily hadn't of told me. We served turtle cheesecake for dessert. It was really rich.
We then headed out to the Eagles concert. Emily and I went in the back seat of Nicks car. We almost left without her because she ran back in her house without telling anybody, fortunately I saw her. Dipshit Pablo jumped in front of me and took the fifth seat by Emily in the top half of the ten seats. Shithead. I got to sit next to Cindy. Farell then showed up, and I knew that he would want to sit next to Cindy. that would put me on the end with him being the only one to talk to. there's no way in hell I'd let that happen, so I made him sit on the end. Good move. Cindy and I had a grand old time during that concert! We laughed and talked constantly. It was really cool. Farell was all alone with nobody to talk to or dance with. When we'd do a line dance, there was no way in hell that I'd put my arm around him, but definitely around Cindy! Morally, one should realize that just because you're a guy, doesn't mean a fag is going to be attracted to you. Fuck that!!!
While we were sitting, Valerie, who was behind me, ended up with her legs split around my back. It made for a comfortable backrest, and a beautiful one. When we were standing, screaming, and dancing, my arm would continuously brush against Cindy's tits right across her nipples. If she wasn't aroused by that... It was really interesting. I looked for a wedding or engagement ring and found none. She later stood up onto the seat in front of us. It made her about as all as me. I helped to keep her up, essentially letting me put my hands all over her. Fun fun. Emily would talk to everyone periodically, which was cool.
The concert itself was awesome. I recognized all but two of the songs, and knew most of the words! They sound much better in person than on the radio, and they sound damn good there! The bass was awesome, too. This was actually the first real concert that I have ever been to in my life!!! and it was a fun one. Thanks Emily!
After the concert, and after it was time for all to go, Pablo gave me a ride home in his noise piece of shit Volkswagon.
