Shar¡ finally called me on Sunday night at ten to fulfill her promise that we'd get to see each other again before I left. I had been the one who said that if things didn't work out over the weekend, then Sunday would be OK. When she called she was waiting for Christina to get to her house to pick her up. She said she had one of her roommates drive her up to a payphone so she could call me but told him she was calling her mother. She called me back a few minutes later and said they were going to Fatsos first to play a few games of pool and then were going out to Talley Hos. As she was explaining how to get to Fatsos, Christina heard and got pissed that she always has to take Shar¡ around so she can see me. Shar¡ had failed to tell Christina beforehand that I was coming so she said she'd talk Christina out of it and then call me back. Stupid me jumped the gun and then got dressed, and then finished packing my car.
When Shar¡ had first called she asked me what I was doing and I said packing. She suddenly sounded upset and asked if that meant I couldn't go out. I said no that I really wanted to go and she quickly perked up and told me what was up. I then told her that I'm not promising anything and might back out. She laughed and said sarcastically that I will go and I laughed and told her that I know! It was funny how much she knows she has me wrapped around her finger. Cool thing is, it seems like she's still kind of wrapped as well.
She and Christina ended up taking off and playing pool first and then called me from Mulligans at midnight. I had essentially given up and had just undressed and had my mother start cooking me some dinner. She said that she stayed up to make sure I didn't run off really late because we both knew I would in a heartbeat. I called Talley Hos once before she got there and also had the idea of just going out there and waiting for her to show up. That would have actually been the smartest thing. I also, since I was already dressed, had very strong urges to go and burn Christina's apartment to the ground!!!, but I decided to eat dinner instead.
When she called she seemed happy and said that she talked to Christina on the way over and she just wanted some time for the two of them to hang out alone to begin with and then she would be more than happy to see me. Shar¡ also said that she really wanted to call me back so that I wouldn't get pissed off at her and that showed to me that she cares a little and impressed me. It was very smart of her, too, because I was definitely starting to get pissed. She asked me if I was ready to come out. I remembered from before how bad the weekend ended that time when I went out with them late and even though the circumstances are completely different, they haunted me.
I told her that since she called back so late, and since I'm leaving early in the morning, I decided against going all the way over there. My ears couldn't believe my mouth!!! I did tell her that I was really looking forward to seeing her that night but it just couldn't happen. She said that she really wanted to see me again, too, but she understands. She then said that she'll write me soon and we'll have to make sure we get together the next time to come down. We then said goodbye and I was very happy at the way things worked out.
Laura and Ashley stopped by to see me Monday night when the got home but I was at the grocery store with Ed and Roswitha. I later talked to Laura on the phone before I went to study with Chris. As we returned home and were walking up to Beaty there appeared Ashley returning from her sorority. I backed up for a second like I was avoiding her and she said, "Fine!," and then I reached out my arm and put it around her. She quickly wrapped her arm around me, which surprised me a little, and we walked like that all the way to the doors which I pulled away form her and opened for her. She had claimed that she was cold, which is why we walked holding on to each other. We talked quite a bit in the elevator and I then called her for a few minutes when I got upstairs.
We said how much we are going to miss our mornings and she agreed, saying that she's going to miss me, but we will have to study and go to Taco Hell every once in a while.
Leigh Anne's been a silly little bitch lately as well. I almost didn't include her in my journal but I guess she was apart of my life and I can't hide hr forever. When she knocked at the door Monday night I was instantly wonderful and asked her all about her break despite the fact that we hated each other when we last spoke on the phone. She was nice back and we all talked for quite a while. We ended up being wonderful to each other for quite a while and ended up kissing which progressed to our taking a shower together. We didn't have sex though because she is sick and on her period and didn't feel very well at all.
I then started avoiding her. She was manic depressive again a little while ago and was all ready to go home and I made it clear that I wanted her to but didn't believe a word she was saying. She then called her mom who talked her out of it and we chatted before I told her we will just have to end up being friends and nothing more. I'm completely in the mood for something new and have sen all of the amazing possibilities walking around campus lately.
I went to my history of Western medicine class yesterday morning and was joined by Ashley and Laura's roommate, Jessica. We never seem to talk much but did at least for a few minutes. There were a hell of a lot of attractive girls in there and I loved it. The class seems really interesting as well and I'm glad to have finally gotten it after trying and failing to last semester. Both LAura and Ashley later told me that Jessica had already told them we have a class together. Laura joked that I'm making my rounds through all of her roommates, but what about her. Actually, we did have chemistry together but didn't know so.
My art experience class also seems pretty cool in the way it is taught plus the abundance of women. I was kind of afraid of having to be in there with Leigh Anne alone until I saw Jana from high school. I was busy flirting with all of the really hot girls outside before approaching her. She seemed surprised to see me and quickly said that she was going to come and sit with me. That was cool. I made sure to be really nice and listen to everything she said and to be concerned with her since I did use to be way too egotistical when I used to know her in high school. I introduced Leigh Anne to her as my next door neighbor which kind of pissed Leigh Anne off but I had pre warned her that I was going to do so. She and I were talking about her (ex)boyfriend (me!) as if he were some other guy in front of JAna and that conversation was really funny. I told her she should just dump him and go out with me and so forth. I liked it.
