I had to be stupid and was being hopeful about something today. Even though both of our other letters each only took two days to get to each other, her latest one decided to go against the norm. That sucks because I based my entire morning around reading the new letter which is `similar to the first, but not as detailed.' I really hope it shows up tomorrow.
Cecil came over last night and along with Chris, we all talked about relationships and being in love until three in the morning! It was a good old-fashioned roommate talk and I thought a lot about Shar¡. I called her last night after six. She has been the one doing all of the calling for the two days prior and I knew that she'd be wondering if I was going to call her at all. That's kind of why I waited so long. She did say just that when we started talking. I told her of course I was going to call because I really missed talking to her. They were just finishing up eating and we only talked for about ten minutes.
She gave me a call back later at ten. She missed me the first time because I was downstairs putting my four loads of laundry into the dryers so she called back a few minutes later. She said that she had been thinking about things and just wanted to talk to me for a little while. I kind of pressured her to tell me what was on her mind because she had a hint of solemnity in her voice. She said that she had been thinking about all of the stuff that had happened over the summer like her being in the hospital. She later said that she was also thinking about what we'd be doing this weekend. I didn't push her any further and really can't wait to talk to her in person because we always have been able to talk better in person than over the phone. I'd really love to just hold her right now.
She told me that she's been packing already and I told Jon and we laughed that it's only Wednesday and she's ready to go. She explained to me later that she was mainly packing clothes so she wouldn't wear them and get them dirty between now and then. I asked her why she was wearing clothes, because she won't be needing them and we laughed. She said that she'd hate to walk around naked in front of the other people when she'd need to so she figured she'd bring some. She also said that she has packed her `convenient' zipper outfit so that she can wear it for me even if we don't go out. We ended up the conversation by saying that we shouldn't talk anymore between now and Friday night to save money and we said so long.
What I find rather funny is that we have both expressed our feelings for each other via letter and have confirmed that all we said was true, but we have never really voiced it over the phone. I can hear the gap in our conversation as we close up each time where an, `I love you!,' would fit magnificently but it just doesn't come. We both kind of hint at it or at least I do just like Kimmeth and I used to all of the time. I really hope this little verbal block is destroyed this weekend when we are together. She did ask me once when I am coming home, kind of rhetorically, because she wasn't just asking what weekend I'd come by but rather when I'd be with her for good! I told her that I don't know and then asked her when. She answered Monday and said that she was going to bring me back with her.
Ashley and I mutually skipped Biology discussion this morning and I slept in late until the mail arrived. After the disappointment of only finding a letter for Jon in the box, I made me a big French toast breakfast. I then got ready for my Greco-Roman culture class. I felt kind of confident and was flirting somewhat with the girls along the way. All it takes is an `interested' look and far too often I'll get a smile back. It's really cool. There are a couple of girls in my honors class that look at me and there is one really cute one that always stares and smiles. It's pretty cool.
On the way to Biology Lab tonight, my elevator opened up on Laura's floor and I see three of them getting into the other elevator. We smiled really big to each other and yelled hello as the doors shut. She waited with the door open for me downstairs and we asked what's up. She then put her arm around me and asked me where I was going. I paid her back the complement and told her. We kept talking for a while and she jokingly told me that I should skip and come hang out with them. We joked around for a minute before I had to take off. She told me to give her a call as the door shut between us.
I looked for cute girls to sit with in lab and ended up with this gorgeous girl named Eva and this guy who recognized me from that Greco-Roman class. He said that he remembered me from Tuesday as well because I was wearing my Q105 shirt and he is from St. Petersburg. We all had a pretty cool time and I was being as funny and sly as possible to Eva. Our teacher is a young lady from Colombia named Natalia. She is rather attractive but carries a heavy little accent. We were in the front row and I would looked at her intensely trying to make eye contact. I would even smile at her sweetly when she would say something kind of wrong and she would see me and laugh back a little. I did make her flutter her eyes a lot with my eye contact. I had joked with her by the end of the period and made her laugh hard once by the end of class. It was a rather flirtatious event and I think I'm going to like biology lab!
