August 13, 1993 - Friday - Last day!, Laura LaRussa

I was having fun at work because it was my last day and I was spending it with Stacy. She even asked me if I know that when I sweat, it makes my eyes that much bluer! I talked to her a lot all throughout the day and we'd probably become really good friends if I weren't leaving. I never got up the balls to ask her for her address but I did get a big goodbye hug from her as I left. I then ran and found my friend Jennifer who did give me her address.

Laura LaRussa came in with yet another cute friend into line at the bumper cars today. She called my name and we said hi. I then went and stood there talking to her until their turn came to ride. We were being all wonderful to each other again and were asking each other all about going back to Gainesville. She wanted to know when I'm going to get up to Gainesville. When I told her my new plans to come back after taking my stuff up on Tuesday, she was exasperated. She kept telling me to come up on Sunday so that we can hang out. I said that I really want to do all the things down here that you can't do in Gainesville like go to the beach and stuff. She told me that there are beaches close enough up there and she'd even go with me! I also told her that I would be lonely all week if I were there by myself in my dorm. She said that I wouldn't be alone, because she'll be there to keep me company. I told her that she wouldn't be in my room living with me and she said that I never know! It was really funny.

She told me that I better call her when I go up and she gave me her number after she rode. I then had a sip of her frosted lemonade. Her friend was going to give me hers but I wanted Laura's more. I didn't say a word about Shar¡ and won't mention her again to Laura for a while.

I called Shar¡ today at lunch again and had an interesting little conversation. Shar¡ then called my house right as I walked in the door, again!!! Third time! I told her that it's starting to scare me because she does it so much. We used to joke about having ESP but now I said she must have a camera at my house since she did joke once that she was keeping an eye on me. She agreed and we laughed.
